Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Wausau, WI - Hotel in Schofield - 1520 Metro Dr, USA

We stayed this past weekend. The staff were all great. Breakfast was very good. The pool area was clean and nice (no strong chemical smell like some hotels). The bed was firmer than what I’m used to. Overall 100% would stay here again

Positive: Great location. Good wifi. Delicious breakfast if you get there early enough. First day at 9:05 it was pretty much cleaned out. All the front desk staff were great. Negative: No bathroom fan is a deal breaker for me. There was hair in the shower and some kind of makeup? that wasn't cleaned off the toilet seat. Took 2 days to get the shower drain unclogged. TV is stuck on a motion setting and there's no sleep button.

Rooms were nice. The staff was nice. Breakfast had a bunch of options. Make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, cereal, yogurt, bagels, fruit, etc. The kids was kind of small but the kids said it was warm and they enjoyed it

SUPER CLEAN, very nice Inn & Suites. Our room was perfect, the bed was comfortable and the location was great. I am glad we found this place and stayed here while traveling though the area! I would definitely go back if ever in Wausau and recommend it to others who are.

Positive: Can park right out front, they have designated pet/non-pet sides. Seemed like it had been remodeled fairly recently, furniture and finishes were nice. Negative: Bed was too hard, pillows were too soft/lumpy and filled with down; only one synthetic pillow provided. Remote had dirty tape, random hairs and dust in bathroom, TP holder awkward, no towel bar. Semis with air brakes going off on road in front all night

Clean rooms and good breakfast. All of the employees we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel. Rooms appeared new and well kept. Everything was clean in the rooms, breakfast area, pool, parking lot. There was a lot of young children staying due to a soccer tournament. Interestingly, I didn't hear anyone running in the halls or the room above us. Very nice hotel, would stay again.

Clean room! Great breakfast. The lady working breakfast was excellent checking on everyone and helpful when I needed a tray to take food up to my room. Food was all fresh and tasty! Pool was nice and kids had fun. Only issue was no fan in bathroom and shower drained very, very slowly.
