Great value for the price and the staff was friendly. There was a good selection at breakfast. Near the interstate and easy access to a gas station and Starbucks. Close to a nice lake and park area where we spent a lot of time. My daughter and I stayed here to observe the 13 and 17 year cicadas and the location was perfect.
Stayed 4/25/24 in room 307. The location was great and the room was clean. The young man that checked us in was helpful and nice. Unfortunately the shower didn’t work the next morning and the lady at the front desk was not helpful at all and very rude. She had a not my problem attitude. When we asked for a number to call to discuss the matter, she said there isn’t one. So we had to continue on to the next hotel and take a shower that evening. You would have thought that she would have offered to let us shower in another room… but no!
It is fine. Great location right off interstate with gas station right there to fuel up fast. Generally well cleaned but there was mold around the tub and the bathroom door was delaminating. Fitted sheets barely grip the corner so that over half of the sides of mattress are exposed. Room was quiet with no freeway noise at all. For the price, I expect better.
The stay at this hotel was perfectly adequate, I didn't have any complaints about the lodging or the amenities in general.
I chose this hotel specifically because it had a pool, and I have a three-year-old daughter who loves to swim. I looked through reviews in the days before our trip just to make sure that no one said anything about the pool being out of service and felt confident we'd get to use it. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for maintenance when we got there and my kiddo was very disappointed about it. I was frustrated by that, but even more frustrated with the attitude I got from the front desk when I asked when it might be re-opened.
I got the sense that the front desk person might be on the Autism spectrum when I checked in so I want to be sensitive to that. I understand and appreciate that some social cues may be missed and that some of her curt/blunt mannerisms may be due to neurodivergence. These were evident during the initial check-in, but were much more concerning in her response after I asked about the pool. Taken together, I wonder if it is best practice to have your front desk representative- the face of your company and the first impression that people receive when utilizing your services- be someone who comes across as rude, dismissive, and generally annoyed by customers asking appropriate questions. I think it might be wise to engage in some re-training for this individual or for her to potentially be reassigned to another role that doesn't require as much social engagement. I had interactions with other staff (i.e., housekeeping, breakfast attendants) that was very polite, and I wished to myself that someone like those kind employees would've been available to handle concerns at the front desk rather than the girl at the counter.
Positive: Nothing at all because they canceled my room on me and the front desk lady was rude. Corporate was nice. However, I was still charged for my room. Negative: Everything. Will never stay at a Country Inn again.
Nice place. Looks modernized and updated. Small maintenance issues which I was able to personally address. Excellent breakfast options. Wcrbled eggs could have been a bit warmer but otherwise good deal. No traffic noise despite being within view of I-55. Would stay here again.
Pros: Check in was easy and smooth. The mattress was comfortable, and so were the pillows. The hotel is in a good convenient location.
Cons: I stayed Thursday until Monday. They never cleaned the room, or even emptied the small trash cans or replenished the coffee. I asked a housekeeper for more coffee but she didn't understand English.
I emptied my own garbage cans and set the bags by the elevator. Someone took them, so I guess they will remove trash if you put it across from an elevator. I had asked a housekeeper and a front desk employee to empty trash and bring coffee to the room. It didn't get done.
My room key wouldn't work. They remade my room key 5 times, to finally discover it needed new batteries! Ten of us were staying there, seven of them their keys didn't work. You would think with the frequency the hotel would figure it out.
I thought the breakfast was weak. No fruit, small dry banana muffins, no biscuits, no gravy. I went to a nearby restaurant.
This could be a stellar hotel. It's really too bad they don't clean your room when you stay Thursday to Monday, don't even empty the trash or bring more coffee packs (like 2 will last for 4 mornings), and the door keys don't work!
If I could give 0 stars, I would! I was unaware that I would be counted as a no-show at this hotel if I arrived after 2 am. My daughter and I got there at 235. The girl at the counter was rude and said that our reservation was canceled due to "computers resetting at 2am." She gave our room away. My husband called corporate, and they said they should have still given us our room as it cancels out at 7 am, not 2am. The lady said I would not be charged, but I still was. Priceline is now refusing to give me a refund because the manager even reported I was a no-show because of the "2am policy." This put my daughter in danger due to myself being tired, needing to sleep, not sure if the area I was in, I felt afraid, and worried that my daughter and I would either have to sleep in the car or drive further to find a hotel being very tired. I will never stay at a Country Inn ever again. It's a shame to be treated like this. Luckily, a hotel nearby had a room and was very nice to my daughter and I.

The employees working when we arrived on 01/17, late afternoon, were absolutely amazing. There was an issue with the dates with our online reservation (my fault) and they were beyond patient and helpful to the best of their ability. I also witnesse
The room was big and spacious it was well as clean. The breakfast tasty but average. Less food than other Best Westerns. The assistant manager and owners did not know how to redeem the promotional gift card from the program that Best Western began a
I love this place ! Just have one minor complaint; they recently got rid of jalapeños and stopped cutting their veggies into smaller pieces - so the chunks are bigger. I usually add jalapeños when I get home and cut my veggies.
Nice people, great coffee (that they roast themselves) and a relaxing atmosphere! They have more than just vanilla for sugar free syrups too! The sugar free white chocolate was yummy. The cream cheese Danish was fresh, tasty and enough for 2 to share
This is an old city experience that reminded me of neighborhoods in old east coast cities like Boston or Philadelphia. It's a quiant neighborhood bar and restaurant with the atmosphere of a 90 year old place that hasn't changed very much. Loved it. T
Delicious ½Ponyshoe Hamburger. Then I couldn't resist the Turtle Cheesecake. Stuffed but happy. Waitress was an absolute delight. I took a picture outside before I went in. I didn't rush out of the truck and I took the next picture of the food sitti
I came here for the first time and it was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles. They were great. Our waitress also did a really good job, even with it being busy.
