Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Savannah Midtown, GA - Hotel in Savannah - 7576 White Bluff Rd, USA

First time staying here. I booked for the price and was totally surprised by the hotel. The young lady working the desk greeted me and had everything ready. Our room was 2 queen bed mobility assessable room. The room was clean and very comfortable. We noticed the walk-in shower did not have a bench or chair, so my wife called the desk. Within 3 minutes they delivered a shower chair. In my opinion the breakfast was above average. Scrambled eggs, sausage, hash rounds, waffles, fresh fruit. My wife enjoys Honey Wheat Cheerios and was happy they had the brand named cereal. The hotel has an indoor, kidney shaped pool and a hot tub. A lift chair was available for handicapped. My problem here was the1st step into the pool and hot tub. It was almost a foot high step and only one safety bar. Because of this my wife was not able to enter the pool. Otherwise our visit was great and we will stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location but everything about this hotel is awful. The rooms are not clean. The most they did was strip the sheets. We had to move rooms twice. The first room, the AC was leaking and it didn’t have hot water. Second room didn’t have working AC at all. Went and told the front desk. She looked visibly irritated and left to check the room without speaking to me. They moved us again, and that room was filthy but at least had hot water and working air. But oh my goodness. These doors slam. When someone leaves their room at 11 pm BAM! Keeps waking my baby up. Then the people upstairs walk so hard that it shakes the floor. “Breakfast” is slices of bread, apples, a few cereals, and scrambled eggs. There may have been drinks. I honestly can’t remember. I have stayed in super 8s nicer than this. For the money it costs to stay here, it should be much nicer. I feel like I was scammed out of half my money…because this hotel is only worth half of what I paid for. Next time I visit, I will be sure to not stay here. Sadly, I have 3 more nights here…if I don’t book a stay at a different hotel. One more door slams, and I just might.

The building was clean and the staff was friendly. The exercise room wasn't open which was a bummer. They have a nice little patio area at the entrance where my kids enjoyed sitting. Standard options for breakfast. There were tons of stores and restaurants around, but it didn't feel like it was on the main strip which was nice. Seemed very safe and I never worried about my car.

The AC was not working properly, the shower handle was stripped and extremely difficult to turn on didn’t think I was gonna get it off ,the room seriously need some major updating. The breakfast room, the chairs the fake leather was peeling all off of them. In my opinion the whole hotel needs to be shut down and seriously updating. Will never stay there again. Worst hotel I’ve ever been in as far as functioning properly.

Positive: The hotel was in a central location to our events. There was a military airport landing right across the street which my boys loved! The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, the lady running the breakfast the week of 7/15 was so great and thoughtful! Negative: NA

Booked for one night when I was in Savannah for a job interview. The girl at the front desk was obviously new and did not know how to process my transaction, the manager helped her, and this manager was quite helpful to me throughout my visit. However, the hotel was not as advertized. The carpeting in the hallway was really filthy, my room was slightly, but not much better. The shower had visible crud in it. I was so tired from a delayed flight it didn't really matter at that point. I was just looking forward to hot breakfast the next morning before my interview, which was supposed to be included. When I got downstairs to the breakfast room there was no hot breakfast, just bread, some fruit, cereal and a bowl of hard boiled eggs. I left abruptly and went to find a decent breakfast for a day of meetings and travel. Very disappointing, because I have stayed at Country Inns before and they've been excellent.

A group of 28 submarine veterans and spouses gathered here for a 3-day/4-night Savannah mini-reunion. |The manager, staff, rooms, cleanliness and amenities were all outstanding. There was ample free parking and an excellent complimentary breakfast. Also, the available conference room was perfect for our group size. |This hotel is a great location for a Savannah visit for a couple or a small group. It's a short drive to the waterfront. Shopping and numerous restaurants are within a few blocks of the hotel. And for retired military, it is also within five minutes of an Army air field.|The General Manager and her staff were most helpful and attentive to our daily needs. This was definitely a 5-star stay for our group. KUDOs to the G.M.!

I would love to give this hotel 5 stars, but the towels make them lose a whole star. 😆 Yes they are that bad. I wouldn’t even call them towels but rather rags. They are also the size of my dish towels at home. I needed 3 of them just to dry off from the shower. Same thing with pool towels. Also the lady running the breakfast was rather rude.
