Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Mankato Hotel and Conference Center, MN - Featured Reviews (593)
We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Mankato MN in August 2024 The outside of the hotel looks beautiful until you step inside. The entire hotel is so old. The carpets are stained. There is such a strong, humid, musty presence throughout the whole hotel. We had a king bed room. The carpet was nasty, crumbs all over stains everywhere the woodwork near the fridge was moldy and discolored. The bathrooms were so unclean & unsanitary. The staff at the front desk were extremely rude. We had no fresh towels for the next day and when we stopped at the front desk to ask for towels, he was very rude and said that they we’re out of towels, and we would have to use the pool towels. They probably were understaffed, but that is not the customers fault that is Corporate and that is the state of Minnesota. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. This company needs to do a complete renovation on this property.
The accommodations were wonderful in every way. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, cookies and the pool. The staff were super friendly and caring of our comfort. The location was easy to find and in close proximity to restaurants and fun activities.||We will definitely stay at Country Suites again.
Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. The lady who ran the breakfast amenities was so sweet and fun to talk to. Great free breakfast. Jacuzzi in room was perfect. Cookies in lobby was a great finishing touch. If I ever stayed in Mankato again, I would be back.
Beds are pretty terrible. Felt and heard the worn out springs every time you moved. Services was good. Free breakfast was good. The usual items: eggs and bacon, waffles, pastries. Pool and hot tub were great. We wouldn’t stay here again unless they renovate and replace the mattresses.
I have stayed at this location a few times for work but this was my first time back since the pandemic. The property has declined a bit and is looking dated. I noticed things like the fan grates in the hall were caked with dust and the the jacuzzi tub in my room looked old and there was a crack in the shell. My room was reasonably clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again but I hope they will work on cleaning and updating the space.
The hotel is absolutely awful. We checked in and the gentlemen were very nice but indicated housekeeping was low on inventory and it was the first busy weekend they have had in a while. We went to our first room and there were crumbs all over the room along with pits of a cherry everywhere. They were very kind and moved us to another room that smells like cat pee and has stains all over along with chocolate and sticky stuff all over the sink.
The building is very deceiving. Outside looks updated but inside is very outdated. A/C is awful and temp had to be on 62 to keep cool. WILL NOT stay here again. Marriott Courtyard is across the way. Pay a little bit more but have a much better stay.
Clean and spacious room, comfy beds, generous breakfast, quiet atmosphere. The pool was small and nicely kept up (though we didn’t use it). Pretty pricey but we expected that on graduation weekend. If the restaurant next door was still in business it would have been perfect.
