Good Value and location between Cleveland and Akron, Ohio. Complimentary breakfast is served. It’s nothing special but it is convenient and quick. Rooms and common areas could use a facelift. Facilities are a bit dated looking. Indoor pool is nice for families. Staff are friendly and professional. We would stay there again if in the area.

Where to start, if you're expecting an already booked room, have the AC on and working. It was over 90 yesterday and when we got to our room the fan did not work and the AC was off. Making it a sweltering temperature in the room. With a newborn this is unacceptable, as you could give our child a heat stroke. Next everything has stains on it, the curtains the chairs and the bed, the tub was dirty and there were splatters on the walls. We went down to the front desk where they tried to correct this and moved us to another room. AC was off in this room too and it had not been cleaned at all, the bedding was still balled up on the bed like they were preparing to clean. We went down to the front desk again and they moved us yet again, it's now already 9pm and we have been traveling all day. In this room the AC was off as well, it took about 5 hours for the room to cool off. There were splatters on all the walls of something but we were so tired we couldn't do anything else, at least in this room the bedding was clean. This was not the end of it though until at least midnight when we finally passed out after getting the baby down it sounded as if they were doing construction in the room above us, we heard a saw, vacuum and hammer going until we fell asleep. I would not recommend this hotel, I do not know how it got so many good reviews. We will not be returning on our drive home.

My room on 8/6/24 had a very strong musty odor, and there was visible MOLD on the furniture. When I asked for another room, the clerk told me one was not available. When I asked to speak to a manager, the clerk told me the manager was out. The clerk acknowledged the musty odor, but he was not apologetic, and he did not offer any solution other than to spray a bottle marked "Smoke Spray". I returned my keys and left the hotel. After a 2-day battle with Choice Hotels, my money was refunded. I was traveling alone with my daughter, and what should have been a carefree evening turned into a extremely stressful experience, as we had to find a last-minute alternate hotel. If you want a relaxing stay in a super comfortable room, I highly recommend IHG (Holiday Inn). The cost is slightly higher, but the peace of mind is totally worth it, and the rooms are soooo much nicer!

I know people complain about a lot of things regarding the property. Is it a 5 star hotel, obviously not, but for the money you are paying is a good place. It is quiet, safe, staff is friendly...it needs a bit of an update but one more time, you want top notch, pay top notch. The biggest potential issue I could find is something that did not affect me at all. Everywhere online the hotel is described as pet friendly and first thing you see once you walk in is a sign "Pets not accepted". I had no pet with me so i could not care less but I can imagine a huge problem if someone followed the online description and brought their pet in... update: The Pet's amenity has been fixed to "no pets".

It's a 3 star barely, bed was fine, staff polite. Room dated and worn, could be cleaner, and needs some TLC. Cleaning solution oder was strong and windows do not open. Was fairly quiet. Basic breakfast bar, probably instant eggs and sausage not to my liking, bagels and cereal fine, room coffee, eh.

My husband went and got the keys to our room. They didn't work so when he went down to fix it, he was asked why he had keys to the other room by the person who checked him in and gave him the key. After that was fixed we were able to get into the room. We booked a room with queens, needless to say the beds were not queens they were doubles. Our kids did enjoy the pool and we all enjoyed breakfast.

The hotel is old and wearing out, but clean, and the people are helpful. The toilet didn't work in our first room so they moved us to a better room for the rest of the stay. The breakfast was fair, room was large with plenty of plugs. Refrigerator and microwave in the room, as well as a coffee maker, but there was coffee available 24/7 in the lobby. A fair, budget stay in a central location for us.

Nice hotel, great location, beautiful exterior and reception areas, clean but a bit outdated rooms. Special kudos to the owner for excellent customer service in resolving a website related scheduling problem at no extra charge. I will visit again!
