We drove 4 hours from Indiana to Chicago and we stopped and stayed here. And from the minute we walked through the doors we were very pleased with how clean and organized the lobby was. The Gentleman at the check in counter was very polite. Our room was very nice and clean. We will be staying in these Hotels as we continue our travels.
This hotel was great. The rooms were clean, the staff were very welcoming, attentive, and respectful. The breakfast had a good selection. The pool was fun. The area felt safe.
We had an issue with our room because the door wouldn't lock, and they were completely booked for the night. They gave us a new room the next day and a free room for the future since we prepaid. I really appreciate the their fast willingness to solve the issue and offer accomodation. Overall a good stay and I would come back. :)
Do not stay this place, it has bed bugs.
I was moved to a different room in the middle of the night bc of bed bugs bites and actually seeing the bugs, but when we spoke to the manger in the morning she is the worst person.
She was not apologetic at all, didn't look at my photos and was incredibly rude. Offered $50 off the stay or to cancel and go to a different hotel however we had a block of rooms booked for an event so getting everyone moved would have been infeasible at that point. At minimum one night should have been comped due to getting no sleep...at minimum.
Also another 2 rooms our party stayed at had hair on the bathroom walls and the sheets had stains so the rooms generally were dirty however given the complete lack of customer service we didn't even point this part out considering bed bugs was the worst of the issues.
Cannot stress enough to pay a little extra and say somewhere else. In fact it may not even be extra...this place is way overpriced for the low quality.
Edit: below response is incorrect. I didn't receive 50% off it was $50. Not even one night stay
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
Let me start by saying we were here for a wedding block so we paid more than the internet price I’m assuming for the use of the shuttle to the venue. I was booked for 2 nights but cancelled my next night and stayed at the Hyatt right next door.
Immediately upon entering the room it smelled like smoke I called the front desk and was informed “ I must be mistaken as there is no smoking in the rooms”. So there was nothing they could do. The room was disgusting stains on the bedding, outdated and the tub had mold in it. The ice machine didn’t work and at breakfast my muffin had mold on it. When I showed the woman working there she said oh I’ll get another one.
One of the two elevators didn’t work when we arrived then neither worked the following day.
Which not only was ridiculous that we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs in heels & dresses but is also a safety issue. The front desk didn’t even apologize just said it was out of their hands I have made the Hoffman Estates Fire Dept aware of the situation.
I am in the process of contacting a corporate number so they can look into this location. I would think that Country Inns wouldn’t want to be associated with this location,
Again, DO NOT STAY HERE
Just writing to let you know both of your male receptionist and the woman that serves breakfast are so kind and helpful! They all were very nice, and every time I walked by the front desk they asked how I was doing and if I needed anything. Cozy facilities!
If I could give the hotel a zero, I would! I would never stay at this hotel AGAIN! We had a horrible experience during my sister’s wedding. We were a part of the room block and never received the welcome bag from the bride and groom, but they had them for us. There were ants in the bed, by the fridge and on the table top. When we told the front desk they said “there’s nothing they can do. It’s because of the weather change”. None of the elevators worked and our whole bridal party had to walk down three flights of stairs in heels and long dresses. Our rooms were not the rooms that were shown at the time of booking and were very outdated. There was hair on the desk when we walked into the room and the toilet would not flush. The floors were stained and the bathroom toilet paper roll barely had any toilet paper on it. We were allowed to keep our stuff in the conference room and then last minute at midnight, the worker said the manager told us we had to get all of our stuff out of the room. We had to rush and get all of our stuff even though this was all in our contract. The management was horrible. They partially ruined parts of my sisters wedding, especially the pre and post festivities. If you have any debate of staying here for a wedding or as a guest, DO NOT DO IT!
I would not stay here again. The first day that I was here, they gave the key to my room to a man who then opened the door to my room while I was laying in bed. As a young woman traveling alone, this was horrifying. The hotel's excuse was that they had the same initials as me so they accidentally checked him into my room, which is incredibly dangerous and negligent. I wasn't offered anything for the inconvenience. The rest of the stay was fine I suppose, but I felt pretty unsafe considering what happened. Keep your door latched at all times if you still want to stay here.
UPDATE: 7/8/2024
I tried multiple times to get in contact with Wendy by phone call and even email after she commented on my review. I never heard back from her. It is obvious that they don't actually care about the feedback and just comment on reviews to make it look like they do. Save yourself the trouble and do NOT stay here.
Should have checked Google reviews first. Bed bugs, dirty rooms/linen and hotel is needing updates. Carpet is stained and dirty on entire floor and rooms. A/c is turned off in hallways feels like sauna room. Had to request rooms to be cleaned again. Would not be staying again.

This hotel needs a serious remodel. Definitely does not deserve more than 3-stars. Smallest TV Iâve seen in a hotel room in many years. Itâs old and outdated. Was cool in the 90s Iâm sure, but thatâs over 30 years ago. See photos. Room was fa
Iâm so glad that OT came into my life. I could not find the motivation to work out and after months of trying, I found this place. I was able to lose 15lbs in 2-3 months. I see the difference and see myself getting stronger and finding that my clot

The daycare staff at Barrington Square Animal Hospital are so wonderful. Mister runs in the door every time we go. He loves playing in daycare with the staff and other pups. It makes me so happy to know he is in a place he loves when he canât be at
A bit of a walk from the parking lot off of rt 59, but well worth it. Many rare species of plant can be found within this remnant gravel hill prairie, one of only a few remaining in northern Illinois. Please walk carefully and stay on marked trails t
Amazing. I'm blown away. Last week I took a tour of the new luxury gym everyone's raving about, and honestly our Club here is just as nice.
We have Rock Climbing, a Huge wall! 2 stories!
Sauna, lockers, tons of basketball courts, the cleanest most
I think this place is great and I'm sure some of that is nostalgic since I've been going here since I was a kid. The lemon ice is still fantastic, the pizza hasn't changed (that's a good thing) and the service is good old counter service. Definitely
Took a friend to the Hideaway down the street. We were looking for a quick bite to eat. I'm trying to eat healthy, and I was happy to see this Strawberry Fields salad. What a pleasant surprise! The grilled chicken was very good, along with the pec
