Hilton/Hampton Inn quality hotel here! Very nice rooms. Clean, spacious and comfy. Large bathrooms with nice showers. Breakfast was good, too. Waffle makers, sausage and eggs, with a selection of cold foods, too.
Easily the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Iowa. Thin walls, I heard banging above my room for 30+ minutes on an overnight trip here for work. I will never stay at another country inn, I would rather sleep in a vehicle. Awful management from the top down. Stay away if you prefer clean rooms and quiet time. The Fairfield across the street is much better ran, quiet and has friendly staff.
Positive: The hotel was clean (and smelled clean!) and our room was very comfortable and updated. It was in a very convenient location. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. We were pleasantly surprised with the price and our stay! Thank you! Negative: The walls were a little thin and we heard the laughter from the room next door but overall it was fine.
You could easily find a better hotel than this. I stayed here and the they only have one person working the desk she sat in the back area on her phone for 10 min before she noticed me. Rooms are ok but overpriced for a small town.
Jet tub is super small two 4 foot people could make it work maybe lol and no vending machines
Nice and quite friendly staff breakfast was good. Waffles bread bagels yogurt cereal milk coffee water oatmeal peanut butter butter jelly cream cheese
Stayed Thursday through Monday. Room was clean, mattress was comfy, but bedspread was obviously too old (all the insulation pilled up, making the bedspread threadbare in most spots). The toilet seat was very loose, breakfast was sparse (and the dining area ran out of several foods before 8 AM), and the foot traffic on the floor above me was loud and conspicuous (not guests being rude, but just other guests moving - I heard every movement above). Serviceable, nothing special.
Our room wasn't very clean. We were there for one night on a motorcycle trip, so won't be staying there again.

Reasonably priced hotel in a great location. Breakfast is convenient and not bad for free. Front desk staff could be more engaging. Hotel was very clean and charming.
We live in Milwaukee, but our favorite restaurant is in Decorah. The toughest thing about dining at Rubaiyat is deciding on your beverage and entree. No matter what you choose, you will not be disappointed. Chef Andy creates flavors and combinations
One of my favorite parks in Decorah. It's high above the town, making it very quiet. The overlooks are beautiful and the trails are magical. I highly recommend visiting in the fall as well, as the leaves are just amazing.
I was here for Malanaphy Falls for the Iowa waterfall loop. This was by far my favorite of the day. The hike was nice - less than 20 minutes for me. Just so pretty and relaxing

Great coffee and a great atmosphere. People were really nice! And best of all, the coffee has some power to it, so the rest of your day will go perfectly.
