We checked in on 9/7/24 in the evening and the desk clerk was very accommodating. I asked that we have a view of the parking lot so we could see our vehicle with a motorcycle on the hitch. She was able to move us to the perfect corner to see our truck. Thank you for the extra effort. Rooms were clean, standard hotel continental breakfast. Easy access to interstate.
Positive: The hotel was well maintained, night clerk was sweet, day clerk needed a lil bit more. Not a bad Continental breakfast. 2nd room I moved to was comfy, clean, nice soft bed. Had an enjoyable stay over all. Negative: Was put in a room next to the exit to the pool and facing the interstate. Was a noisy room. Had to end up staying the night at my sister's house. Next day I asked for a new room. They didn't want to give me one at first, but I ended up getting moved.
Have stayed at this hotel several times and have not been disappointed. The rooms, as well as the hotel, are very clean and quiet. There are a number of nice offerings for the free breakfast. The check-in staff, Karen and Gina, as always, were very helpful and pleasant. It's always nice to see familiar faces on visits. Both are great employees. I would highly recommend the Country Inn & Suites in Crestview, FL. It's a nice hotel at a good price.
I checked in on Saturday, and proceeded to unpack. On the bathroom floor I found lots of long black hairs. It was late and I had just finished a long trip to get there, so I decided to use some tissues to clean it up myself. Later, I opened the bed & found that the sheets were very stained & ripped. They weren’t even as good as what I use for rags at home. It was too late, and thankfully I bought my own pillow, so I decided to block it out and get some sleep. As I lay on the beed I heard a noise near my head. I got up and turned on the light to find a cockroach on the headboard right by where my head was. I called the front desk and the clerk came up. He chased it around with a broom and dustpan, but it went under the bed. He couldn’t find it after that. I told him that my daughter had a room with 2 queens down the hall, so I would sleep there, so he left. As I quickly packed up and continued to watch for the roach, I found another cockroach in the bathroom. At that point there was no way I was staying another minute in that hotel. So, at 12:45 am I called around to find a room elsewhere. I let the clerk know that I was going to another hotel. He said he would check me out, no apology or anything. I asked if there would be any charges as I was only there a few hours. I was told I would have to call for the manager at another time because she was sleeping. (I would have liked to have been sleeping too) I tried calling the next day and was told no one else could help me & that the manager wouldn’t be available until Tuesday. I called back on Tuesday afternoon. A female answered and I asked for the manager. She asked what I needed as she could probably help me. I explained the situation I had endured, to which she said I should have told someone and continued on making it sound like it was all my fault. I then asked for the manager – she finally said that it was her. Why was she hiding this? She said she would refund me, but I needed to let them know (pretty sure I did when I called the desk clerk). That they would have moved me to a new room. I told her with the roach issue, it wasn’t going to be contained to the room I was in, and that they obviously have a problem with their housekeeping. She told me that I didn’t need to be telling her how to do her job and she wasn’t going to give me a refund now. I told her fine, I had already contacted the corporate office. She said great, have fun getting your money from them. Since this is a military town, I am extremely sad and disappointed that any military personnel or their family members would ever pay money to stay in a poorly taken care of hotel like this. I was there to visit my Army son’s family, and you can be sure I will share my experience with anyone and everyone I can. This hotel needs to clean up their act and their rooms. They also need to train their staff in customer service. Karen, who is the manager I dealt with, should NEVER be in a position to manage this or any other business as she is rude and condescending. Stay away from this hotel.
The desk clerk was polite and friendly. The room was very clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable! Breakfast included biscuits, omelets, sausage patties, and many other options. I definitely recommend this place!
Kenji went way over and beyond. She stood outside in the parking lot until we saw the place due to construction. She checked us in with favor and discounts to apply to the rates. She made us and our kitty feel right at home. Even made sure I had a prime parking spot with our U-Haul trailer.|Thank yo Kenji!
The ladies at the front desk were very nice and informative. Our room was clean and ever Worked just fine. The bed and pillows were great. We have family in Crestview and visit often, we will stay here when we return.
We checked in after midnight Saturday night and front desk clerk was new and said he was new and had no idea why he was on his own yet. We had issues with room key had to get them redone. Got into room and there was dried blood stains on carpet, stains on bed and bed skirt, we book a room with 2 beds and was given a king and a sofabed. It was already late as it was and been traveling all day and had small kids with us so we dealt with it. Next morning front desk lady said why didnt we come back down and I explained to her that we were beyond exhausted and she told us that the dried blood was hair dye and front desk guy should've told us. Breakfast only had skim milk and most of food tasted stale. I voiced my concerns with front desk lady and she acted like she didn't care and it was our fault. I called later that day (Sunday) to ask for manager and was told he would be back in on Wednesday so we called Wednesday and was told he already left for the day and would be back at 730am Thursday so I called back Thursday morning at 8am and same front desk lady I dealt with Sunday morning answered phone and I told her I wanted to speak with manager and was told he wasnt in and I told her I was told he would be in today and then she asked me what my name was and told me she was person I dealt with at checkout and said there was no way that i would ever get to speak to a manager and that I would not be getting a refund. I don't appreciate getting dismissed and talked to the way I did and there is no excuse for it. Will never be staying with this hotel ever again especially since I'm a diamond member and even if I wasn't a diamond member that's no way to treat a guest. I would like to add that I tried to reach out to the hotel first to seek resolution before posting a negative review.

Lovely hotel, and a great breakfast! We stopped on our way back from Disney, but I would be happy to go and stay there for a vacation. The bathroom was HUGE, with so much counter space and a lovely bathtub. 5 stars, I was very happy.
This is a mixed review as the room itself was good, but its location and noise level was terrible. The service was 50/50. The food also was 50/50. Iâll go by category.
To preface, we were given the 1st floor and arrived around 10:30pm.

The Shrimp Po-boy is good but hold the bottom of it so your shrimp and the rest of it doesn't fall out. The onion rings are also great. She has the Square app so you can pay with debit card if you want, too.
This place is now across the street from the plaza/center.

The kiss of fire is as good as it is fun. We get this every time. But everything we have tried here is good. It's a small place, but well worth any wait. The jalapeño tempura is really good (pictured), the hibachi chicken was also very good. For sur

Had a great Valentine's Day meal. Fresh seafood always cooked hot and fresh with great service and very fair prices. A hidden gem without crazy tourist traffic like decent seafood places in Destin.
