My husband booked this location as a last minute surprise trip. So I’m glad there was a hotel available at a reasonable price, but I now see why it was available. The room had stains on the walls, the sheets were rough, the room was hot. The wall outside of the elevator had graffiti that said “coochie hairs”. There were hairs that were not ours in the bathroom. And when we came back to the hotel the second night, neither of our keys worked. We went back to the front desk and they “reset” our cards. We travel back up to the top floor and neither key still works. It took almost 30 minutes to get back into our room. When it comes to breakfast, you’re better off skipping it. The Waffle batter dispenser was empty. They only had strawberry cream cheese for bagels and the eggs were super soggy. It does have the advantage of an airport shuttle and a shuttle to the light rail, but that’s about the extent of the good. Overall it was just a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
It was a very nice, clean, and aesthetic hotel with great rooms and comfortable beds. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Lori and Kimberlee (not sure if I spelled their names correctly). The hot breakfast was very good, and it was fun to meet lively and friendly people at breakfast.
Had a long day of travels, got to the hotel guy that checked us in was super nice. However get to the room and headboard was lopsided and broken. There was hair all over the bed. Then decided to change rooms to see if it was better but there was still a bunch of hair all over the bed. We just decided to at that point to go to another hotel. So went back down to ask for a refund. Lady who helped us was also nice but she couldn’t figure out how to give a refund. Came back from our cruise which was a week long and still didn’t get our refund. Stopped in and the guy that helped us was super quick.
This hotel could be really nice but it disappoints because the housekeeping staff will not follow instructions from the front desk. My husband and I stayed from 11/1/23 to 11/13/23. I asked the front desk what we could expect regarding housekeeping while we stayed 12 days. She said we could have housekeeping every day. Unfortunately, housekeeping would come only one time to our room during our 12 days and then because we created a ruckus. That meant that our wastebaskets were not emptied nor our towels turned in to the hotel to clean and we did not get clean towels! Instead, we would take our used towels to the front desk and turn them in and ask for two new sets of new towels. In this way we might end up with wash cloths but no mat for the bathroom floor and no hand towels. Finally, I decided to put our trash in the hall and our old towels in the hall instead of going down in the elevator to the front desk. The next morning, everything was gone from in front of our door except two dirty wash cloths which were left in the hall outside our door. Now, we have only to go down to the front desk to beg for more towels. ||In addition, almost every day, we would go up to use our key to get into our room and the keys would not work. Then we would have to go downstairs to the front desk again to have the keys reprogrammed —and we went through this almost every day of the 12 we stayed.||Next, the free hot breakfast. The waffle batter was absent about 4 of the days we stayed. But it would also run thin before being used up. I would tell the person there it was thin and…we will see. So far no batter. ||Be aware if you want to use the laundry that you need 6 quarters to do laundry and 5 quarters to run the dryer. There is no way to get the necessary quarters from the hotel so bring your 11 quarters with you or 22 quarters if you need to do two washes.
I stayed here in October and everything was wonderful and would have rated exceptional. This stay is different. Just be aware that if you stay more than one night, they do not clean, remove trash, add towels, etc. unless you track down a housekeeper. We stayed 3 nights and I had to ask on the second day for our trash to be emptied and towels replenished. Also, it says free wi-fi, but I am here now and for the last 2 days there has not been any wi-fi. Keep getting told that it should be up today, but it is now after 8 p.m. and still no internet. Not a happy customer right now. Also, if the hotel is full, parking is difficult.
If I could do it again I would have gone with any of the other surrounding properties. The stay began with the lady at the front desk telling us that there were no rooms available…. after we had made a room reservation 5 hours earlier and the website said there were still 4 rooms available after ours. It would have not been an issue if she wouldn’t have been rude. She ended up somehow being able to get us a room—one that she had to come with us to open because she wasn’t completely sure that no one was in there. The airport shuttle wasn’t in service and breakfast was the most bare bones breakfast I’ve seen at any hotel. Since those were both reasons we initially reserved this hotel, that was pretty disappointing. The hallways were dirty with crumbs everywhere, but thankfully, there was no one in the room she gave us AND the room was clean.
We booked ahead and unfortunately stayed twice (arriving and departure) at this establishment, and if we’d known this hotel before our trip, we will most definitely avoid. Our arriving flight was delayed and I called the hotel at around 7pm to request a late check-in between 2-3am, the lady on the phone clearly stated that she will keep the room for us. When we actually arrived, the front desk lady kept saying that they ran out of room, claiming she didn’t receive any phone calls, nor any notes about keeping the room. After about 15mins working on the computer, a room just magically appeared. Ridiculous!! Why wasting those times when you know you have this room ready?? Same thing happened again when we came back for our departure flight. We arrived at the hotel around 8pm, the same lady claims again, our booked room was sold out, and she gave us a room with king bed and pullout sofa bed. This reminds me of Seinfeld that “you know how to take the reservation, you just don’t know how to keep the reservation”. Besides of these unpleasant incidents, the room reeks of damp cloth smells, walls have some splashes that looked like either blood or juice, the towels felt like hang-dried, the breakfast is barely edible, the nightshift front desk lady confused our shuttle to an earlier time (thank god not later). Despite the good location if you are looking for somewhere close to BWI. But overall, this is a very disappointing stay. Do NOT recommend.
Quite disappointed... Had a 2-queen suite for 2 nites. BEDS: Very comfy. Other furnishings: OK. Problems: 1) TOILET SEAT was in swivel mode - not attached on one side. Requested repairs the next morning at 10 am but still not fixed when we returned at 6. "There's no maintenance person on Sundays" was the front desk response. Wow, in a large hotel like this? 2) BREAKFAST: fresh fruit and OJ were pluses. Waffle irons were both shut down both days. Cereal choices were Lucky Charms or Cinammon Toast Crunch - not bad if you are 5 - no oatmeal. Lucky Charms it would be. Had a long search for spoons (they aren't kept with the plastic forks for some reason.) No muffins or sweet breads, just toast/bagels. White-bread bagels with cream cheese were OK but there were no knives to spread with; counter said they were out. Coffee: self-service airpot-style on a counter in the lobby across from the front desk, none at all in the dining room (some tea but no hot chocolate option.) The one coffee airpot that was there failed to deliver, so I asked the front desk if there was another airpot somewhere. Wrong move, I was informed that my chances of getting coffee by talking to the front desk were very slim, that I needed to take my coffee issue back into the dining area to the kitchen person (who was not findable earlier when I tried to find spoons for my Lucky Charms.) ||Too many obvious problems, too little interest on the part of hotel staff in identifying problems and making them go away. I won't be back.

I am so grateful to the front desk staff of this hotel for taking such good care of me during my return from a deployment! I landed at BWI and called the front desk at 3am. They had a driver come pick me up from the nearest door to where I was at the
Slightly dated hotel but the location is great. Staff was busy and still super helpful and polite. Somehow they ran out of breakfast, it must have been a very full hotel all week. Not an issue for me, I used the kitchenette to reheat pizza and make
Nice clean place. Only issue is the bathrooms are dimly lit. There are 2 small lights above the sink and I have a 20/20 vision. I had to use my cell phone to bright the room enough to make sure I didnât hit my toes on the corners. Thatâs not a hu
Checked out this little hole in the wall based on a friend's recommendation and I was glad I did. The samosas were light and not oily and the whole wings were moist inside as were the tandoori chicken. The goat curry and lamb rogan josh were flavorfu
I've been a customer here for over 50 years. From Chuck's to the Pharmacy. The sub shop, the Post Office, Keller's Bakery, the Food Mart. Matsu Japanese restaurant (Love their sushi) and just discovered Flowers Extraordanaire. I love this place.
I discovered this super convenient and very adequate food plaza during a recent stay in the area. This food plaza was very conveniently just located across the street from my hotel. There are many types of food that you can choose from when deciding
We went here for the first time and had a good experience! The food was very good and authentic. The complimentary chips and salsa were one of best that I've had compared to other Mexican restaurants. My husband got shrimp tacos, and they were del
Met a friend here for lunch. We were seated right away. Our server was efficient and attentive. I ordered the Calamari Italiano appetizer and the Fruit of the Sea entree. After the appetizer, that huge salad and the breadsticks (I only ate 1), I
