Where can I begin? Let me begin with 302.50 (151.50 ×2) for a room authorization being pulled from my account before I even got to the hotel on August 11. I found this out because my bank sent me a possible fraud alert. I was coming from Louisiana and going to the Fun Spot. No one informed me of this until I checked my account and saw two transactions. Next, I had a rude young lady who was not great at explaining anything. She talked to me as if I were her child and as I questioned her about having to pay another 302.50 after this amount was already debited from my account, she asked do I understand what authorization is? I called the young lady early morning August 11 and she did not explain that I would have to pay an extra 302.50 at the desk. She kept reiterating that my authorization money would be returned. The policy for the return is 3-5 business days. I have frequented other hotels and was under the understanding that the money being held(authorized) would be used to pay for the room. I had this birthday trip booked since May 1 and I will not be returning to this hotel. Why such a high authorization charge? The rooms are decent but not worth the money I paid. To top it off, when I returned from the Fun Spot after ten pm, there were people smoking weed outside the door and someone selling weed. I even watched as another customer had to use the luggage cart to go get her own luggage. THIS WAS AFTER HUNTING FOR A CART. The male desk agent came outside after the customer grabbed the cart, but just stood and watched. He did not offer any assistance. Customer service and better communication is needed to make this place successful. There is one bright star in your staff.||It is your housekeeper who came to check and see if I was ok. He was a tall black male. Maybe train him for the front desk. Unfortunately if I could place service at less than a one I would. Again, I will not be returning.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast and free airport shuttle. Mowesha at the front desk was beyond amazing and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I wish more people were as pleasant and helpful as she was!

It was perfect for us! Spacious room, very clean. Bed was confortable. No noise from across the Street. Good pub near the lobby, open till 2 am. Staff at the front desk were kind and helpful. Good complimentary breakfast. Free airport shuttle.

I was very pleased with my stay. It def was a great value! It was also very close (less than 10 minutes) to the airport. All of the staff were VERY friendly. My room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was as well. I also enjoyed the hot breakfast! They had a waffle maker, name brand cereal, muffins, cooked oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, bagels, assortment of juices, and so on. I also liked how carts were always available when i needed one. They also have free shuttle service to the airport (before 11:45pm). Something that I didn't know (probably because I neglected to read something), is that you have to swipe your card for $100 upon check-in for incidentals. If nothing is damaged in your room, the funds will be returned. If i am back in the Atlanta area, I would absolutely stay here again!

We missed our flight to Dublin due to weather. We picked Country Inn & Suites due to close proximity to the airport and the price. The staff were so friendly, professional and helpful. We were appreciative the Runway Tavern was open late as we hadn't eaten all day so our dinner was at 10:30pm and was delicious. Tamera was especially helpful and went above and beyond to aid us. And breakfast and coffee was great and included.

I had to stay in Atlanta for a few nights during my transit flight to my destination in South America. In this emergency, I found “Country Inn” to be a great choice (e.g. near the airport, good price for value). Rooms were very clean. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. Tamara (front desk) was very kind and helpful, particularly as I had to find my way around the area. Thank you for your help!

I stayed here for a week working from hotel on my laptop. Full overview this hotel is fine. I’ll highlight some major focuses of mine. Bugs - For me this hotel did not have any bugs. I experienced no issues with roaches or bedbugs. Breakfast - very hospitable and very southern like I’m used to nothing special or amazing normal eggs, waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, bagels, juice, tea, and coffee Room - Nice room all appliances worked not the prettiest room but again everything worked except for day four and five of my stay the water was not turning hot anymore. The front desk seemed very dismissive and passive aggressive about maintenance to fix the issue. I’m sure they were bothered with many calls. But not our fault as guest.. Front desk- Front desk ladies were as I expected very Atlanta Southern masculine I asked for a new desk chair in my room and never got it as a matter of fact the girl lied to me and said they put a new one in there when I came by the next morning unfortunately she didn’t know that I stayed there the entire day. No one walked in my room. Other guest - There were lots of guests here I imagine most were not from Atlanta, considering the hotel is so close to the airport lots of foreign people as well. You can hear kids running down the hallway and occasionally the room next-door might be talking too loud or TV volume may be too loud. It was what I expected this hotel charges just a bit too much for its value no major complaints but if I need another trip, I probably will choose somewhere for a bit cheaper. I think I can find somewhere a bit cheaper with all of the same amenities and cleanliness that this hotel provided.

Only stayed here because this was the least terrible option we got from delta after thier delay caused us to miss our connecting flight. The lobby is very clean and well maintained. That all changes once you get to the elevator, which seems like it hasn't been maintained since 1990. The door on the elevator slams open and shut and makes the whole thing rock. The trim is peeling off inside it as well. There was gum stuck to the floor in it, and in general it didn't seem like it had been cleaned for a hot minute. The 3rd floor smelled musty and the carpet in the hallway had a lot of stains on it. Our room had the AC off when we walked in, so it was warm but more importantly it was VERY humid. The room also smelled musty. The floors haven't been mopped or swept for awhile either, as I took a towel and ran it around the room and it came up pretty dirty (pics attached). The fixtures are all pretty run down. The bed sheets and pillow cases seemed clean, however the blanket had a lot of large mystery stains on it. Over all this hotel is pretty gross and poorly maintained. Would not recommend it. Also wouldn't recommend flying delta, as if this is the best option they offer you when they make a mistake then this is pretty sad. But that's another matter.
