Country Inn & Cottages - Motel in Fredericksburg - 1644 US-290, USA

Great little room with character and a sitting space. Shower was pretty tiny. Front desk person was fabulous - friendly and excellent suggestion for good BBQ! Was happy to get the last room on a Saturday night. Enjoyed the horse races at county fair. Not too far from Luckenbach!

My wife and I spent 3 relaxing nights in cottage 30. Check in was easy at the location in town. ||Cottages are just far enough out of town to enjoy some peace and quiet, yet close enough that a drive into town is easy. ||Cottage was immaculately clean, and comfortable. Decor is top notch inside. Simple and efficient for what we needed. ||We would highly recommend a stay if you are ever in town. Would not hesitate to book again.

Beautiful location in hill country. Each cabin is perfect size for a couples night or two away. Deer all over, and quiet and relaxing. Loved having my morning coffee on the front porch and listening to the birds. Units are very clean, staff is more than helpful and the pool/ hottub are perfect. Cant wait to go back.

We stayed at the country inn to celebrate my birthday. To start off, the only complaint is that the showers are tiny.... With that out of the way, the beds were comfortable, it got cold at night in the middle of June, it was a quiet stay, parking wasn't a hassle. They were very friendly and accommodating at the front desk, such amazing customer service. Unfortunately on my trip,my husband left his ring on the sink just before we got the last of our luggage in the car, we didn't realize it was left behind until we got back to San Antonio. I called and they said they would put it on hold in the lost and found should we be able to make it back although we couldn't. They happened to be in San Antonio and offered to drop it off but I was asleep and missed the chance to get the ring back TWICE. I told the owners that its ok if we don't see the ring again as shipping it would be the cost of postage and I would rather him have a new ring that fits better. Although my husband is bummed because he loves the ring and would rather have me pry it off his cold dead fingers, we bought him a new one in place of the one that was "lost". It's now August and I checked the mail and I see an envelope with "country inn & cottages" marked as the return address and my face lit up. I video called my husband who just went to break and I let him read the envelope and his reaction was priceless. I opened the mail and dug the ring out and showed it to him so he can see that it really was his ring and he was so happy. His reaction, his response, his smile made me happy. We are so thankful for how much the country inn has helped us get back my husbands ring. It's very inexpensive and very affordable, but it's the ring that he loved, the ring that he wants to keep forever because of the sentiment. Gas would've cost twice as much as the ring just to get it back when we would be able to get one that fits better rather than keep the one that slides right off his finger 😅 now he has a new ring that fits perfectly, and his original that we're going to keep locked away safely. We appreciate everything the country inn has done to get the wedding ring back to my husband. Thank you so much!

Great little room; perfect after long days of shopping. Cold ac, hot shower and comfy beds. Our toilet overflowed one afternoon, but they were on it quickly and resolved the issue in no time. It must be that time of year because flies were out, even in town they were everywhere. You might want to bring your own flyswatter because they come in every time the door was open! NOT the property's fault, but just wanted to mention.

Amazing stay. Everything was perfect. We chose Country Inn Cottages because of it being dog friendly. Very comfortable cottage. Slept great!! Views were outstanding. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the deer and turkey. Can’t wait for a return visit. We have been to Fredericksburg several times but I think we enjoyed this stay the best.

Lovely place to stay without busting the bank. I left a bike pump behind in the room and it was safely returned by the owners to me by UPS. It was extremely kind of them and very gratifying they would go to the trouble of having it packed and sent. I highly recommend the motel and found the other guests to be very pleasant.

Rooms were clean, looked like new. Guest host was extremely nice and customer focused. I recommend this place as a must see, and must stay location. One of the real travel gems in this great country. This place will please even the most demanding travelers.
