"Your menu is too large, cut it in half and do that well" would be the first words out of Robert Irvine's mouth if he ever came here for his TV show about failing restaurants. This food was shockingly awful. I like local diners but that's because the food is usually good; the food here was disgusting. I can't believe a place like this could screw up a cheeseburger and fries and a breakfast platter so badly. My bacon cheeseburger came with: overcooked bacon, an overcooked and unseasoned burger patty, a stale bun (STALE), a slice of cheese and some cruddy tomatoes and iceberg lettuce. I wasn't expecting fancy, but it tasted like a burger from a school cafeteria. The fries were decent. My mom's breakfast platter came with: charcoal briquettes formerly known as "bacon", crusty hash browns that tasted like they'd been cooked this morning, warmed "toast" with butter spray, and three over-easy eggs. We were both shocked that something as standard as a breakfast platter could be done so badly. We are not wealthy foodies, we've lived in North County for nearly 30 years now. I had good memories of eating here from a long time ago; I knew things had changed, but I never expected this. Everything tasted stale, canned, or frozen. *Everything*. Our Tabasco bottle not only looked nasty but was listed as expired as of October 2022. Yeah I know "it's Tabasco" but still. Our ketchup bottle was empty. Customer inertia is the only thing keeping this place open. People still come here only because they're used to coming here. I don't see how anyone can taste what we tasted today and think "I want to come back" because we certainly don't.

Natalia was exceptional! Our trip was to go to the Tractor Supply and asked where they recommend for a good breakfast place . Hands down everyone at Tractor Supply suggested Country Cafe. And the Chicken fried steak. We got there and they were very busy. Usually, my husband will leave... but Natalia said it would only be a few minutes. We did wait and after 10 minutes she came and suggested to put us at a large table... she was very apologetic and waited on us immediately. The wait was a little longer but well worth it. Food was served, hot and a lot of it. Natalia kept checking on us with coffee ... she was very pleasant. We had to return to Tractor Supply the next day . And stopped again for breakfast. Natalia was the one that greeted us and remembered us from the day before. This time I had the chicken fried steak. 😋 and was very impressed. Next time we travel to Tractor Supply we will definitely go back , hopefully Natalia will be there. Huge portions , and everything we had was delicious.

My husband ordered 2 French toast and it had corn flakes on it whole but thy were huge . I ordered chicken fried stake wich was prefrozen not cooked all the way was cold in the middle, eggs tasted like fish , hashbrowns barely cooked cold in the middle and gravy was lumpy and cold and finally milk tasted stale . Was not impressed 😕. The waitress was amazing . The price for such a meal was a lil high .

Great food, friendly waitstaff. I love their "messes", this time had the classic mess and it's delicious.

Phenomenal French toast breakfast! The best I have ever reviewed! The crust has an amazing coating that will leave you craving more! They sell it by the slice so we shared one! Hubby had the Messy Meat breakfast and I had a made to order omelet with hash browns. All was cooked to perfection and the portions were huge! We took half home! Except the French toasty…we devoured that! You must try if in the area! Soooo impressed with the food!

A fantastic small town diner with both American and Mexican foods offered! We have eaten here for breakfast several times and always have a great experience! A very well rounded menu, and they always give great attention to the needs of our toddler! Recommend for sure!

Great place for a good local American breakfast. Variety of options to choose from, sandwiches, Benedicts, burritos, hash browns, pancakes, etc. While your Tesla gets its charging, you can charge yourself with some good food here

Good food, large portions! Some items are a little more pricey but the quality was everything you would expect for a diner. Can’t go wrong! Also, customer service was great.

We had the best afternoon. This park has so much shade and is right in the heart of Ridgefield. So great. They were having a block party and the Firemen were so nice and showed the kids their truck. Wish there were more picnic tables.

Really beautiful vineyard/winery in Northeast Ridgefield. One of the few real wineries around where they actually grow, make and bottle their own wines. Great tasting room with samplers, bottles or just glass fulls of many red and white varieties.

We came here for the first time for my 50th birthday. It’s inside the casino- clean and quiet place. I ordered the Admiral Mary and Chicken Marsala. My husband had the Chowder and Fish and Chips. The food was so good! We ended with the Lemon Souffl
