Counterpoint Coffee - Coffee shop in Seaside - 565 Broadway Ave, USA

My friend and I stopped in on our bike ride to have a little drink. The Golden Latte (work oat milk) was really good and had just the right amount of turmeric for a really wonderful flavor without being overly powerful. The two baristas were friendly and timely. Will definitely be coming here again.

Lavender Oatmilk latte $8ish. Wonderful staff and atmosphere playing cool vinyl. Outside has some seating and ample 2hour street parking. Good wifi for studying but I wish they had more plugs for the community table because sometimes you want to sit in the sunlight.

It was my first time visiting this place per a recommendation. It was niceeeee. I loved the ambiance. I could definitely sit there for hours doing my homework. The staff was super friendly and he answered all of my pressing questions. I got the ube latte with a shot of expresso. He described it as having a taste similar to fruit loops and he was right in the best possible way. I was a big fan and will definitely come back with more friends. Peep my pretty drink as well. Great for all you food pic fiends 😋.

Unique coffee shop. Latte's are on point. Perfectly textured milk and delicious espresso. First time I went, there were croissants and they were fantastic but on my most recent visit, there weren't any pastries.

Bottom line - they make a good cup of coffee, the best we’ve had in Monterey so far. The interior is spacious, and it’s a good place to hunker down and crank out some work for an afternoon. The interior theme is a bit… witchy - lots of crystals and random religious items, so be aware if that’s not your thing. At the end of the day, if you’re in need of some solid Java - this is your spot.

First time here and can’t express how welcoming this coffee shop is. We walked in and the employee was by herself and let us know it would be a little wait witch wasn’t a problem for my friend and I. I ordered a latte made with oat milk and vanilla syrup, SO GOOD!!! Also grabbed an almond croissant and it was so tasty! The employee that was working did come by to change the music and asked how everything was. They even have a book suggested when you walk in. Keep up the amazing job!!! I will be stopping here a lot more often since it’s a 5 minute walk from me, very convenient! 😊

The coffee could be a bit stronger, but the sweet ladies that work there and the atmosphere definitely make the place worth the visit. I also believe that out of all the businesses on Broadway they have the best view which adds to the coziness.

First time trying this place and I enjoyed it! The employees were nice/friendly. The baked good selections were great. The variety of vegan etc. was nice to see. I had the iced mocha with a blueberry donut and my bf had a cappuccino with the coffee cake. Recommend all of that! And of course the place itself is beautiful from the interior design to the architecture. Only complaint would be the price is a tad high on some of the items, but you get what you pay for.
