Stayed one night. In the middle of the night, my wife felt a bug crawling on her and we woke up to find a nasty bug of some kind crawling down her shirt. We killed it. Upon further inspection we found a pile of dead ones next to the bed (see attached pics). Pretty unsettling. It was the middle of the night and we looked to see if there were other bugs and decided to just try and make through the night and address with the front desk in the morning. Also, the front desk was only open until 9:00 PM and even if possible, moving rooms with all our stuff for one night would have been crazy anyway. Also, probably bugs in other rooms as well – clearly no one is thoroughly cleaning no pest control going on… After a very rough night, I went and talked to the desk manager the next morning to report the issue and given them an opportunity to make things right. She was immediately very defensive, which was weird, but said she would talk to the owners. She did get back to me and the owner apparently said, "well it couldn't have been that bad if you didn't leave the hotel and stayed the rest of the night." Pretty unbelievable. No apology at all, nothing, no offer to make it right. Clearly, this owner doesn’t want our business or that of anyone else we know (we are from Boise and know lots of people that travel frequently to the area and will be sure to spread the bad news). I gave them an opportunity to make things right and if that had happened, I would have reflected that in the review and given them credit. Very disappointing.
Ice machine isn't working. That's why I didn't rate this place higher. Employee's are nice. Clean rooms! There's a pool but it's not open, big bummer! Yes that's my service dog Jax. He loved the comfy bed.
Cons: I likely won't stay there again even though the price is great. The managers use their platform to evangelize. The put their Christianity on display. The forefront thing on the counter at check in are cards for Campus Christian Fellowship, a conservative Christian organization. For me, it took away from their friendliness bc it then feels like an agenda. The other thing was the cleanliness- stains on shams and comforter, dirt on walls, trash under the bed, mold in shower. Pros: price, comfortable bed, very cold large fridge
NO ice. Employee got his fair share and then there was NOT much/hardly anything for us. Motel is dated, but if you want a budget motel, it’s an ok stay. Quiet. A/C cranks out the cool air. Low water pressure in the shower. Super nice guy at the front desk.
Room service was so polite! The price is affordable. The rooms are simple and clean, the tubs are deep enough to sit in comfortably without feeling like I'm trying to bath in the kiddy pool. They have cable which is nice also. The mini fridgeand microwave got me thru the work week. These pictures don't really do it justice, I've been here a week! The pillows are so soft and the extra comforter at the end of the bed is great if the plush blankets aren't enough. Third floor even has easy access from the back of the building making it the same as being on the first floor but with a much grander view.
This is an old facility and it shows. On the upside, my room was very clean and was equipped with the usual complimentary items i.e. iron w/ board, coffee and tea, ice bucket, small fridge, and nuker. Bang for the buck It would be hard to beat this place.
Outside of not having a WSU decorated room there is nothing negative I can say about this place. I needed a place to stay for the night while my daughter had her overnight campus stay at WSU as a new student. The location was perfect being near the college, restaurants and plenty of shopping. The little details like complimentary water and snack and the detailed instructions at check in, makes this place stand out. The TV was huge (I think 55”) and the room even had a little kitchenette near the bathroom which I was surprised to see! Some may be bothered by the outdated cabinets and bathroom but it adds to the overall character of the place. I recommend this place to anyone needing an extended or short stay because of the price and the overall experience.
Would give a 5 star if we hadn't found ants in our room after being in the for about 30min. Other than that they moved us into another room free of charge. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are small, things are outdated but useable and not badly managed. The vent did jump out at us once while in the bathroom, not sure why but popped it back on easily. Neighbors had a loud snoring friend and our upstairs neighbors had heavy feet. But it was quiet after about 10pm.
A nice treat after a walk around the campus in a sunny summer day. Ice cream is good and they also offer coffee, I tried the capuchino and It was a perfect match witn my ice cream. They also sell cheese in the store; they have a beautiful canned pre
This local bookstore is an absolute treasure! The creativity is amazing throughout the store in organizing their different genres and just having fun with the whole experience. You feel like youâre a kid on a treasure hunt & itâs a blast to look
My dogs and I love coming here. We are always warmly welcomed by the staff, and the owners CJ and Quincy. They have my drink memorized and I love that they have gluten free options and dairy free options. I love to come here for my dogs to play or to
I have only good things to say about this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the facility is well maintained. It adds much value to the University.
TAYHA! You are amazing and so fab girl! The shop is always in the best shape when sheâs working, always clean and tidy. She gives the best advice on what to get and I always love her service!
Great place to play games with your friends. Great and fun environment with a lot of selection of games. Wether you like magic, or his new addition of magic cards, or board games. Steve has lots of knowledge or recommendations on board games for any
Good food, low prices. Part of the hospital. With current viruses, service is mostly limited at this time to people coming in for Dr., Lab and imaging appointments etc. Plus staff and volunteers. Masking is required except while eating or drinking
Loving this brewery (Paradise Creek). Atmosphere is incredibly laid back. Excellent selection of tap exclusive of Paradise Creek brews. Come, sit back and enjoy a round! ð
My husband and I had a date night and used their golf simulator. Trent was super nice and we were the only ones in there so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We had some drinks and pizza and everything was great! Highly recommend and
