Cottonwood Mall - Featured Reviews (6877)
A Once Thriving Mall in Need of Revitalization I recently had the opportunity to visit this mall, and it is with a sense of disappointment that I provide this review. The establishment, once a vibrant hub of activity, now appears to be in a state of decline. Firstly, the lack of dedicated spaces for children to play is conspicuous. In an age where family-friendly environments are highly sought after, the absence of such amenities is a missed opportunity. A dedicated play area or interactive zones for kids would undoubtedly enhance the overall shopping experience for families. Moreover, it is disheartening to witness the numerous vacant storefronts scattered throughout the mall. This not only detracts from the overall ambiance but also underscores the need for investment and revitalization. These empty spaces could be repurposed to bring in new, exciting businesses that would attract a wider range of patrons. Additionally, the mall's infrastructure is showing signs of decay. From worn-out flooring to outdated decor, it's clear that a renovation is overdue "The saddest part is that the handicap-accessible doors don't work." A fresh, modernized look would breathe new life into the mall and make it a more appealing destination for shoppers. In conclusion, this mall, once a thriving hub, now struggles to meet the evolving needs of its visitors. A commitment to making it more family-friendly, filling vacant spaces with innovative businesses, and investing in its infrastructure would undoubtedly help restore its former glory. It's my hope that these observations will serve as constructive feedback, prompting positive changes for the benefit of both the mall's management and its patrons. I specialize in writing articles for The New York Times, and I am currently in the process of preparing an article on the worst malls in the United States. It is certain that Cottonwood Mall will be featured as one of the worst malls in the country
Needs more stores but still a great place to shop. It's actually very well kept.
This time of year was always a go to for unique gifts. The last couple of years this is not the case. This year was even more disappointing. Some shops not open. Some closing early at 3p. The prices of some things were double the amount if found elsewhere.
This mall is easy to navigate. Enjoyable. And has a variety of choice shops depending on what your looking for. Nice to browse through. Highly recommend NM Rocks on the lower level sorta beneath the food court area. Alot of the workers throughout the mall are friendly. Helpful.
Had a lot of different things inside Went there to visit family, a lot of cool things to see inside the mall.
This is a nice mall. Very clean, great stores, easy to get in and out of.
We visit here a couple times a year. Sadly it looks to be having less and less stores. Also, the arcade, specifically the air hockey tables took our money and there were no pucks in the one upstairs. The downstairs air hockey machine had a puck and worked but the puck and table was incredibly dirty which gave it poor action. Whomever is in charge needs to check in on things more often--nobody is ever there so if a machine takes your money with no play, you're s.o.l. The walkways are clean, the bathrooms tend to be okay at the food court. The food court tables could be washed more but the floors seem clean. We love visiting the Sushi Roller & even though is a 45 supporter he's a nice fellow. Imagination Land has gotten exorbitantly overpriced with knock off stuffies and different pop culture items--not sure how they stay in business when you double the prices for no reason but they're still there. We will still probably go there once or twice a year but there's not much to look forward to anymore as prices get outrageous for us peasants. It's clean and relatively quiet. So there's that.
Like others have said, this mall is in desperate need of a remodel. There are lots of empty or unrecognizable stores. There are no other malls that compete with this one. Coronado Mall is too far away for most westsiders. I feel like this mall could come back if they could find an owner that invested in it.

This is a nice place. On the second floor facing the chapel, is a quaint distillery called Downshift. The atmosphere is calm and the weather today is superb for patio seating.

We love Smith's and all of the Krogers stores. Cleanest, brightest, friendliest every store we've shopped.. good loyalty program and good weekly deals.
I was expecting to get shot or robbed pretty much the whole time I was parked there and then when I didn't it really felt good, made me grateful and thankful to be alive.
Shopped at Sprouts which is always a great experience. Clean restrooms great produce and many New Mexico products. I hsve also shopped at dollar tree. It is near many other stores I frequent such as Hobby Lobby, Savers, Barnes and Noble, Sam's, etc.
There is no one better than Lawrence for a specialized plan. I came in with a gluteal tendinopathy after months of working with a Physical Therapist, Lawrence was the one who finally got me feeling fully healed. Great gym, great people, highly reco
Absolutely loved my stay at the Desert Compass! The property is beautiful and very well kept. I stayed in the Rattlesnake Suite and it was so cozy, welcoming, and clean. The private/gated parking provided me with peace of mind. I would definitely boo
