Great place out of the way, to decompress and disconnect. the pools were amazing! it was nice to have a variety of temperatures to choose from and the sauna was a nice option too.
The service at the front desk was good, and the employees are helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable.
One suggestion i would make is for management to actually enforce the no alcohol/ no drugs/ no phones in the pool area rules, as well as "no children after dark" I saw all of these things happening on the one night that we were there and there really wasn't anything said or done about it. closer attention to the cleanliness of the changing rooms near the pools on a regular basis.would also be an improvement.
all in all, it was a good experience, and I'll definitely be returning. I love the location, and also that there are campsites available.
My husband and I come to the Cottonwood Hot Springs almost once a month. When I was there today, everything was clean and the water was fresh. We love this place.
I also love that there’s a microwave to warm up soup that we might bring from home and that coffee and tea are complementary.
We rented a cabin and it was horrible! The cabin had dirty carpet, very hard beds, the cabin could not support all the electrical needs so you had to decide. The cabins are very very dated and choppy. The couch cushions were old and uncomfortable. The kitchen was incredibly small. We had food and the refrigerator was unplugged. We were so disappointed considering the price point per night We left paying a $118 fee to get out of our stay. The room rate was appx $300 a night. We went elsewhere. Not at all what we expecting.
A unique experience to view mountains and snow swirling around on the coldest day of the year while being warm in a hot spring. The staff is friendly and informative about their facilities. You can rent towels and bathers, they have gendered and non-gendered change rooms. They also allow access for most of the day so you can eat and come back to soak some more later
The pools are excellent, well worth the soak. Clean water and varied temperatures. We stayed the night in a $200 room and while it was tolerable, it was far from luxurious. Mismatched linens, worn out towels and raggedy robes. The facility boasts about organic linens and natural wood bedframes. The bedspread was polyester and unwashed, and the bed frame was metal. No TV no wifi, if you're not soaking or sleeping, virtually no other entertainment despite multiple satellite dishes mounted around the property. Improvements have been made to the rooms, but it's easy to overlook with the cheap, outdated, and worn-out accessories and decor.
Have been touring hot springs in the state, and this is one of our favorites. The fact that it is within 2 hours of Denver is nice. The staff were very nice and helpful. They seem to be updating the dressing rooms, so they are only getting better. One of the pools was a bit too hot for me, the wife, not so much. Great facility beautiful setting.
Great place for locals. Not fancy, but friendly. They take care of those of us who are frequent visitors. This is not a trendy hot springs. It is small and a little rough, intentionally.
I really want them to get rid of the lights along the cubbies. The lights kill the vibe at night. They need to dampen, shade, or remove the lights altogether.
Otherwise, good spot!
The cabin is so disgusting and dilapidated that the beautiful location is not even worth it. This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. For 300 a night you get an oven that doesn’t works, and a cabin that if falling apart. I can tell no one ever cleans those cabins. There was a fish pond with 4 dead rotting fish and a “private hot spring” that was just a hole in the ground with a hose.
The hot springs are not even worth it since the changing room is old and nasty and wet. Save your money and your hygiene.

Was here for my daughter's wedding and found the trail system refreshing and invigorating. I am not a hiker nor even a walker but this trail called me and I spent hours exploring and getting a great deal of exercise. Great views with excellent yet ch
Great high ropes experience! Tons of fun with my 10-year old son, including the leap of faith, challenging climbing course, and giant swing! Also, very kind and helpful guides.
Awesome area with a great trail system, several access points to the river, dog friendly, and so much outdoor recreation. Awesome views, great hiking area.
Best cafe in BV. Super nice people, coffee is reasonably priced, and I had two different meals: a bagel sandwich and a breakfast quesadilla and they were both great. Inside gets packed, so sit out back where there seems to always be somewhere to sit.
We had an amazing stay here. The hosts were friendly and the rooms were very clean and cozy. We absolutely loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Canât wait for summer to go back!
My daughter booked her wedding at this hotel for a mid January ceremony. Being from the Houston area I was skeptical due to the time of year and difficulty of getting there for the wedding party. I was also able to book a home rental through the hot
There are two parks adjacent to each other. One is very large. The large one has painted rocks with dogs names on it, some shade, a large water bowl and some pup obstacles to play on.
The smaller one, I believe is for small canines. But, I didn't pay
Best pizzas I ever had.. We ordered The Bee Sting and The Snow Pack pizzas.. They complimented each other with taste and texture.. The Bee sting has the perfect blend of sweet and spicy and the Snow pack has the perfect blend of onions, peppers and c
