Our first time at a COE and we are impressed. Just lovely campground with lots of open grass among large trees. Electric hookups only. Probably a dump station somewhere but we did not see one and did not need to dump. Dito fresh water. Many waterfront sites, again just lovely, lots of fishing. Highly recommended.
This camp ground is well cared for. The sites are close together, but neatly maintained. The shower/bathroom house are the cleanest I have ever seen at COE park. We will definitely stay again. Reasonable priced at $20 a night.
This is a Corp of Engineers campground. The lake here is very nice and has a great small swimming beach with water that is probably not even 4 ft deep in most of the roped area. Sandy beach, shower to rinse, good amount of parking, some trees for shade and restrooms. It was perfect except for how hot it was that day and how hot it been for a while so the sand was scalding hot, even with sandals on.
Campsites are very nice with big Cottonwood trees everywhere so there is scattered sun/shade. How much sun a site has just depends on where you are. Very quiet campground with nice facilities. We plan on possibly having a family camping get together here.
It is a COE Campground, therefore very affordable. There is a water and dump station near the entry. Some of the spots had 30 or 50 amp service for RVs.
It was beautiful.
We stayed overnight passing through and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The bathrooms are extremely well kept and clean. You have plenty of space in the shower area to keep your things dry and completely move around. The spots are large, level, and while you have neighbors you’re by no means on top of each other. The waterfront is calm and relaxing. We will absolutely stay again and recommend to others.
Beautiful sites. The campground host was very helpful in assisting us. We had a great site with an unobstructed water view. The facilities were well maintained and clean. Park rangers patrolled regularly and always waved or spoke. The national fish hatchery nearby was great to visit. Despite some rain, a very pleasant experience.
Among the best clean, beautiful area, restroom s and the showers are modern,clean and comfortable sites are spaced nicely. Price per day is very reasonable.
