We spent a week here and loved the relaxing atmosphere here. We had a spot in the campground away from the more popular 1st loop and we had the area to ourselves for most of the week. We were right on the water and saw some beautiful sunsets! Starlink works well on loops 1 and 2. Some sites might work in the North Loop, but less to choose from there. Keep an eye out for the Armadillos at night as they are fun to watch! We will certainly be back to this park!
A very nice park. Paved parking for R V's . Water and electricity hook ups . Clean bathrooms and showers.
Awesome place to fish, camp and spend time with the family. The maintenance guys take very good care of the park, the mowing is excellent, and the rangers are friendly and well versed. This is a top-notch premier CORPS Park. The lake leadership team is second to none!
Small but nice. Wide boat ramp with easy in and out access. The camping spots are kind of bunched up together. This is a stump-filled area so you know it's full of fish. Just be careful getting your line hung. Not a great swimming spot.
Campsite 7 Large, shaded campsites with many right on the lake. Clean showers and well kept areas. Very quiet, which we loved.
We have stayed at several acoe campgrounds and this one rates at the top. The views are beautiful, the staff was great, the grounds well kept and the bathhouse was clean. I highly recommend this campground.
My husband and I just spent the weekend here with our camper. It was our first time at Cottonshed Park and it was so relaxing. The campsites are really nice and the guys that work there are great! The sunsets are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen! We will be going back with our boat for sure.
