Hometown feel, kid friendly and decent food. We were here because they gave my grandson a free meal for an outstanding award at school. Not a place I would normally visit, but our waitress was very nice and accommodating and took good care of us. The fried mushrooms were excellent 👌🏽 The catfish combo shrimp was big and good, although the fish was too salty for us. Strawberry salad had a good balance of pecans and cheese. Fresh dinner rolls are brought to the table for free.

We were driving from Conroe to Ft Worth and looked for somewhere interesting to eat. I think we struck gold here. Although all we had was a turkey club, it was perhaps one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff were very attentive. Based on our first experience here, we will keep this on our favorites list.

It had been sometime since my last visit. Stopped by for lunch as I was craving a chicken fried steak. Unfortunately the meal wasn’t as good as before. Way too much breading and just fell apart when cutting it.

I've been 3 times now all spaced several months apart and every time they've had amazing food and service. We have gotten chicken fried steak, chicken strips, burgers, mashed potatoes, fried okra, broccoli rice casserole, Mac and cheese and more and I have nothing bad to say about any of it. The service has been wonderful every time with friendly staff who are very attentive. Would recommend.

Despite working on Christmas eve, everyone was so helpful and friendly. The manager, Corey also made my holiday. I'd never eaten here before, but I got the heat and served Christmas dinner because it looked really good (and I HATE cooking). When I got home, I noticed pork lard ontop of the green beans and realized that this was proper down home Southern cooking. That's great for most of my family, but I'm vegetarian. I didn't realize that I wouldn't be able to eat any of the vegetables or even the peach cobbler (but it makes total sense with Southern cooking to use animal shortening). Even though I didn't do my homework, the manager found me something vegetarian. And even said he had an "extra" one and would comp it if I'd come pick it up. I wanted to take the time to leave a review because this act of kindness really meant a lot to me. Thanks, Corey and the Cotton Patch team!! Happy holidays! ❤️

Went for take out lunch today. Waitress took my written out order and still screwed it up. Why can people not confirm after reading the original order. Asked for fried fish (flounder or cod) not catfish. What did get fried catfish! Asked for sides of Mac & cheese and broccoli rice casserole and got green beans and squash casserole. Third time this month, first 2 were dine in when they screwed up.

I go to pick up my order first of all customer service is trash some lady up front I didn’t know if she worked there or not just staring she had a jacket on the employees just look at u crazy and talk to u like trash . And not to mention I paid 5$ for my rolls to be burnt bottom of my bag dripping in sum kind of liquid also I have no words for these mash potatoes

Really enjoyed our luncheon there yesterday, the food was great. It's the next best thing to home cooked meals. Wait staff was very friendly and on point, our waiter was serving other customers and was very observant of our group. Never once had to ask for anything. We will definitely be eating there again!!!!
