Cottage Landing - Apartment complex in Lafayette - 301 Coolidge St, USA

BEWARE!!!! OUR COLLEGE GIRL FOUND HER UNIT ON MOVE IN DAY DIRTY & DISGUSTING! UNKEPT /TRASH / JUNK / OLD FOOD /DIRTY UNDERWEAR ,LEFT BEHIND ITEMS EVERY ALL OVER ,UN VACUUMED ,UN MOPPED ,UN DUSTED !! MAINTENANCE PERSON MAY HAVE STARTED TO CLEAN NEVER SHOWED BAVK UP TO COMPLETE A PROPER CLEANING ! THEY ARE NOT QUICK & NOT RELIABLE ! Promises made to her verbal by office staff were not kept ! Was told the unit will be clean & ready to move in NOT !!! It’s move in day & our UL Student upon arrival was excited & expecting to start moving into her new residence. She was told by management that her unit that was supposed to be clean it was not -it was in disarray from previous renters ! She contacted office for help but got NOWHERE!! She had to completely spend the entire day cleaning after last tenants!!!! Thanks to the facility not following through !!! Dirty Floors throughout -counters - bathroom-laundry room -trash everywhere- dirty underwear-dirty fridge- Sink -counters ! She was so overwhelmed , I am so disappointed The Cottage Landing Management didn’t have their act together for something like this to happen !is not ACCEPTABLE!! SHE WANTED TO MOVE OUT - SHE WORK FEVERISHLY TO FIND SOMEONE TO TAKE OVER HER LEASE . SHE FOUND SOMEONE (they make you find someone to move in ! You are on your own )yes you have to find someone to TAKE OVER the LEASE ! SO ALL THE PAPERWORK WAS FILLED OUT& our GIRL WAS ASKED TO MOVE OUT & TURN IN KEYS BY MANAGEMENT SO SHE MOVED OUT LEAVING YHE OKACE IN ORDER & MOVED INTO ANOTHER PLACE ! THEN the rNEW GIRL BACKED OUT SO NOW OUR GIRL HAS TO CONTINUE TO PAY $750 MONTHLY RENT TIL AUGUST 2024 or UNTIL SHE FINDS ANOTHER RENTOR TO TAKE OVER !!OUR HIRL IS STRUGGLING TO PAY ONE RENT PAYMENT LET ALONE 2 !!!WITH SCHOOL AND 2 JOBS HOW CAN SHE RECRUIT A REPLACEMENT PERSON TO TAKE OVER HER LEASE !!! ITS NOT RIGHT WHEN THEY ASK HER TO MOVE OUT & TURN IN KEYS the LEASE SHOULD HAVE TERMINATED!! THEY CARE LESS HELPING OUT A STUDENT . NOT WORTHY OF 1 STAR!

So happy I decided to live here at the Cottage Landing, such a welcoming homey environment!!

The staff is always readily helpful, and they respond to maintenance issues quickly. If you’re comparing this living on campus, then parking is significantly better here. The rooms, living area, kitchen, are all very very nice for a college apartment. This is a great place to live for a college student, and one that I would recommend to anyone.

By far best student living in Lafayette! The staff are very accommodating and so kind. Literally a 2 minute drive from campus. Would highly recommend!

It was always a fun and clean time over at the cottages. The ladies at the front were always nice. The pool was not the biggest but it got the job done, the lounge area was always clean and neat when we went inside, and I always felt safe especially with the gates. Walking to campus was an option if it was a good day outside. Great to help me with my undergrad!

Staff is nice and responds quickly. However, it took about a week to get all of the furniture into the apartment, and a large dumpster took up about 5 parking spots, though I understand why it was there. Other than that, the cottages themselves are nice, clean when we got there, and work orders were done quickly.

Cottage Landing is a great place to live! You get so many amenities and it such a very friendly environment!! The staff is so sweet and helps with everything! All my close friends live in different cottages and living here as brought us closer!!! 10/10 recommend :)
