First time there and we really enjoyed it. Wonderful and homey rooms/suites. Outdoor areas are very inviting. Very close and convenient to the Square. Marcie was an excellent host!

We had a lovely stay at the Cottage Inn. Room had a jetted tub, comfy bath robes and a candle fireplace. The checkin process was quick and easy and loved the fact they have key pad door locks. Located near Sonoma Square it was convenient to shops and restaurants.

WONDERFUL place to stay. We stayed in the “Courtyard Suite” which was cozy and relaxing. We immediately felt comfortable and did not want to leave! The place is super well maintained, with nice amenities, and lots of quiet. The Cottage Inn is located a block from downtown on a quiet street, so not a lot of traffic or noise. Walking distance to everything. I even got to enjoy a 90 minute massage at the spa (pre-booked). LOVE the local jelly and coffee provided, also could not wait for our morning pastries to be delivered to our door! 10 stars!

We stayed in the mission room. We really enjoyed our space and loved being able to walk everywhere! What we didn’t like was it took wayyyyyy too long to get hot water and sometimes the water turned cold after it was hot. They need a spatula to turn burgers or eggs. I also didn’t like the outside lights from the courtyard shining into our main entrance. If this is tge case they need to add shades to block out the lights. I travel with a sleep mask so all was good. It’s a very comfortable bed with luxurious sheets! Thanks again for making our stay in Sonoma memorable. We would have told you these things but no one asked how our stay was only “we were good” meaning we didn’t owe anything.

The Cottage Inn and Spa was absolutely beautiful! It was my first time in Sonoma and the Inn was the perfect spot to come back to after a long day of wine touring. The Inn was very well located - it was close to the town square but still a good distance that you aren't disturbed by the crowds. We booked the Mission Suite which had 2 terraces, both lovely places to have coffee and/or wine in. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. While we didn't get the chance to use the kitchen, there was everything you could ever need. Lastly, one of my favourite spots at the Inn has to be the seating area by the fountain. It was very calming and serene. Thank you so much to Teri and the team! We really felt at home and can't wait to come back.

Surprisingly unique and quaint little hotel. We loved it. We stayed in the Arroyo Suite and the room is spacious and well designed. It was nice having the little kitchenette and they bring you pastries from the local coffee shop each morning. Our room had a cute little private patio that we enjoyed relaxing on while having our morning coffee and pastries. It’s well located a block from Sonoma square so we could easily walk to restaurants and tasting rooms. We would definitely stay again and hope to try out the spa in the future, as we heard good things from a few different people during our stay.

Location location location! A block and a half off the square. Steps to the Sonoma City Trail for walking and biking plus a link up to the Sonoma Overlook. Tranquil quiet grounds (except for the solar project during our stay.) Rooms could use some updating especially the showerhead, but were clean and comfortable. Staff only on site until 4 so plan accordingly. Parking comes with some rooms but otherwise street parking plentiful and safe.

We have always wanted to visit Sonoma, CA, and decided to stay at the Cottage Inn & Spa. Let me say we were more than pleased with this remarkable property. The suite we stayed in was the "Mission Suite." The unique suite included a Jacuzzi tub, a private patio, and a front porch. We enjoyed wine on the patio and enjoyed yummy treats from the Sonoma Cheese Factory on the front porch. The Cottage Inn & Spa is steps from the town square (Sonoma Plaza), which features many restaurants and shops. The Spa was incredible as well. Ashley and Chris were excellent for the couple's massages. I highly recommend Spa if you decide to stay at the Cottage Inn. Overall, the Cottage Inn & Spa hits the mark if you are looking for beautiful accommodations, remarkably maintained grounds, and a peaceful-restful stay. The breakfast treats delivered outside our room each morning were absolutely delightful! Thank you, Cottage Inn & Spa, for making our first visit to Sonoma memorable. Lou & Val

Another great evening at Cafe La Haye; this time for my daughter's birthday. It is so nice to see the familiar faces of the staff and folks that seem to be locals. All of the specials sounded tempting, as did the menu items. I had the ahi tuna tarta
