Never been to a Costco in the West coast and there is a different selection of food and items so it was pretty nice. Went here to stock up food on my trip to Seattle. I tried the mango smoothie at the food court and I liked it. They don’t have the mango smoothie at my local Costco store in the East coast. The cashier was friendly.
This particular branch at Redmond is not offering the best Costco experience. We often don't find the things that we need to buy and they also have some absurd policies in place that other branches don't. E.g. you may not return to the store once you have checked out to shop items you may have forgotten. You have to go to the car, unload and return with empty hands.
Very close location for me which is great, especially for the gas. Long lines EVERY time i come here but usually moves pretty fast. The parking lot is a nightmare as im sure most Costco's are. Nothing out of the normal here just a Costco with everything that comes with it.
Today I had a bad experience paying for my purchases with Cashier Andrew M. I decided to make two different transactions, the first to pay for clothes and the second for groceries. He told me that he couldn't pay with different cards, which was company policy. And he took a photo of the receipt and continued very rudely. Since when can't a customer make separate payments and use different cards? When I signed up, was I never told that? I have been a regular customer for several years and I make my payments with my debit and credit cards. This isn't the first time something like this has happened to me with their cashiers, have they even told me that I don't look like the one in the photo? Do you want to tell me that it is false? I answered the cashier. The truth is that it is not at all satisfactory to buy in this place, their customer service is not good at all... very unfortunate!
I think this is the best Costco in the greater Seattle area. The layout of the store and parking lot are better than the older Costcos. This place is still always busy, but the way it is laid out make it less frustrating. The fuel station also has 3 pumps in a row so it handles a lot more traffic than a regular one. The store happens to be in a counter clockwise setup, rather than the clockwise path that most have.
I was getting gas at Costco and noticed I had a flat tire so I thought “easy enough fix I’m at Costco and I can take it to the tire center” I paid $12 for a patch and an hour later one of the technicians said my tire was unsalvageable, that it had been driven on too long and it was beyond repair. I asked if I could get a replacement tire and he said my tires were 2 weeks out and better off going somewhere else (thankfully I did). He told me I could drive on my spare for up to a month and was done with me. Wrongly believing his “expertise” I took my car to Les Schwab the next day explaining I needed to buy a new tire (possibly two so I was about to spend $500 on new tires) when the front desk worker asked to see the “unrepairable tire”. With a quick visual inspection she determined all it needed was a simple patch (what I had paid $12 for at Costco) and they repaired it for free. The tire is back on my car and completely fine. If I had listened to the Costco tire center expert I’d be $500 in the hole and be driving on a spare for weeks. That was my first, and ultimately last, time I go to the tire center.
Costco Wholesale has been a staple in my shopping routine for years, and it never disappoints. The membership perks are well worth it, with access to a wide range of products at competitive prices. The store's spacious layout and friendly staff create a pleasant shopping experience, and their Kirkland Signature brand offers high-quality alternatives. The food court is a hidden gem with delicious, budget-friendly options. My only minor gripe is that it can get crowded during peak hours, but the savings and value more than make up for it. Costco remains my top choice for one-stop shopping, and I highly recommend it!
Best costco in Redmond. It is very clean and a lot of self checkouts. You can get anything you can think of in any costco and more. They also have a very big gas station. I go there every weekend. I just love Costco.
