I absolutely fell in love with this place! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by everyone working and even got smiles from people working in the back, unlike most placest. Daniel, the bright gentleman working behind the counter was super friendly, very informative and also patient with me due to it being my first time there. The sweet pulled pork with Pico and guacamole on a fresh tortilla is exactly what I needed. 🙏🏼🇲🇽 They are bilingual and it was fun conversing in Spanish as well. 10/10, would recommend.
We visited with our kids on a road trip. Staff was so friendly and helpful, getting us extra water cups, making sure we all got to the table, and taking trash as soon as we started to clean up. Food was fresh and they were quick to get it. Everything was clean and both bathrooms had a changing table and even extra diapers and wipes!
Fantastic! All the employees were kind and direct; friendly and attentive. The food is higher quality than most places and delicious. Major props for having lots of gluten friendly options and teaching our staff about them too
Pros:
(1) Tasty food
(2) Good menu options
(3) By default your burrito is ran through a broiler (which keeps it nice and toasty)
(4) For the burrito, your cold stuff like lettuce, pico, sour cream are put on the side, meaning you can get more rice/meat/beans inside the burrito before you start to feel bad for the employee who has to fold the monstrosity. Also helps keep the burrito warm
(5) Huge portion sizes
(6) Quick
(7) Food is served in a sturdy alumnimum bowl, meaning you can actually use a fork and knife to eat your food
(8) Seating area is ample and clean
(9) Friendly employees
Cons:
(1) Bathrooms probably have the worst design choices possible - door swings inward (unsanitary), no paper towels (only air dryer), no way to easy tell if occupied besides trying to open the bathroom
(2) Salsa is bottom tier Kansas City salsa (aka better than some other states)
(3) Food is oddly sweet
I don't live in Lee's Summit but this is one of my favorite restaurants! Always great food and friendly staff! I make a point of stopping here when I am in the area. I especially like the Sweet Pork Salad with Lime Cilantro dressing. Very tasty!
The gentleman who take & make your order was fantastic! Food was great authentic Mexican. Where it's located easy to miss. Atmosphere could be a little better, but not bad. Glad I went. 😊
First time here and it is amazing. Had the sweet beef. 👍 was recommended to come. From blue springs. Will come back. Employees are very friendly. Thanks guys for all that you do. Keep it up.
The staff here is amazing! Every time we order here they are all friendly and happy. We order here at home, and at my work we will order pick up from here and in all those times the order was only off once. Keep in mind I am one of those people who has a lot of edits and that order was for work so there was a whole office making individual orders. When we go in there, there are always the same familiar faces. I hope the company treats and pays these guys well because they are great at their jobs and they deserve it. This is the only place we trust to order over the phone because they get it right. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GANG!!
Edit: 5/19/23: Dream team at it again!! Busy busy here around 5:00 and they were Killin it
We had the quesa birria and tacos of tripe and tripe is tricky to make. Both were delicious. Employees were super nice. Highly recommend and authentic Mexican food.
Their accents was heavy , so you already the food was gonna be Bomb ð£ ð. Ordered the carna asada and costillas de res en salsa, and they were super good home-made dishes. Tortillas were freshly cooked, and the sauces on the side were not too sp
My husband, 2 kids and I really love Carmenâs and drive 30 minutes per way to eat there! They have really wonderful food, we often get the fajitas. The environment doesnât scream Mexico, like some restaurants but is always clean and fast paced. S
My husband and I went to Calaveras during their holiday pop-up bar. We had never been before, and let me tell you the food was PHENOMENAL. Itâs been awhile since we have had food that tasty. Service was great considering how busy the joint was. We

Megan's Yoga Tribe is truly amazing. The serene atmosphere, skilled instructors, and diverse range of classes make it a complete fit for both beginners and experienced yogis. I started coming to MYT while in nursing school and it was life changing. T
