Interesting play on vision and perception. Very cool stop. Loved watching the kids soak it in. Tour guide really adds to the experience. A bit of a physical challenge to negotiate the tour due to inclines.
Had the best time at Cosmos!!! My husband couldn’t stop talking about it the whole ride home!! I can’t explain the “hot spot” (gravity) but it was so fun trying to walk while being pulled back by gravity. As you can see in the pictures each one of us were standing in different directions at the same time. At one point you are leaning over as if you were looking at your shoes while walking. Soooo much fun there!!!!!
A fun place for families to check out if you're in the Rapid City area. Our tour guide was fun, patient, and could remember names like nobody's business! Our kids (ages 4 and 7) really enjoyed the Geode Mine ($6 additional to the tour) where they got to find, crack, and keep a geode. I would not recommend for kids under the age of 2, senior citizens, or people with balance issues.
Had a great time at Cosmos Mystery they did a great job and the tour guide was very sweet and made sure everyone felt included. Lots of fun especially for the children on the tour. If your in the area with family they will love it. I am only giving 4 stars as for the price the tour was very short 30mins.
Cosmos is truly a strange place. They welcome you into their interesting gift shop with plenty of Knick-knacks. After collecting your tickets they immediately start off by showing you tests that can’t be explained. We had Jess as our guide and he was truly born for the role. Cracking jokes and showing us the phenomena that is Cosmos. I’ll recommend this place for people of any age as long as you have balance!
First off, WTH. Balls rolling uphill, water doesn’t follow gravity, a pushed weight goes more in one direction and walking on walls?!? Our tour guide was funny and good. The kids and us were so weirded out, but we can’t wait to go back!
Fantasic tour guide. So nice to have an attraction to go to that welcomes friendly pups! Picked up some geodes to bring back for nephews. Trippy
Love this place. Went here when I was 12 and then returned at 52 I always have fun here. Kids seem to have a good time.

It is hard to believe that the 12th century church is still standing strong and beautiful on the hills. This is a wonderful architectural marvel in Rapid City. The entire edifice is made of wooden blocks and columns. Definitely recommend this church
