UPDATED: This apartment would be 5 stars EXCEPT 1) We’re on month 4 of false fire alarms (for building 1000 only). Usually middle of the night, multiple times a day, rain or cold. The fire department doesn't come as fast. Residents don't even evacuate the building anymore. No communication about what’s going on. Instead, they’ve sent two emails blaming residents when that’s clearly not the issue as you can see from their replies here in the reviews. 2) Dog poop everywhere which I understand is hard to control. I can empathize with that. I cannot empathize with their lack of effort. Get cameras. Threaten to fine residents. Try something. You will be fine here if you have enough money to live in a different building and do not have a dog to walk through the poop with. Otherwise, no.

I’m in Cortland since the beginning, Nov 2018, and never wanted to change this place. Nature, lakeview, location are top. Amenities, apartments, pool, gym: everything is modern, stylish and clean. The stuff is very friendly, kind and always eager to address your questions quickly. This is awesome place to live! (and work since mostly working remotely now) :)

While I was still living in Dallas, I signed a lease here October 2020 without having laid eyes on the property. Scott helped me through the process from afar and made the process so simple. When I was able to see my apartment, I instantly fell in love with it. It overlooks the two lakes in the back and gets so much natural light (that my plants love!). They have great amenities, my favorite being the pool, gym and trails. I love how peaceful the property is and I am very grateful it is also smoke-free. Everyone in the front office is so friendly and helpful! They have food trucks come and they have drinks and dessert set out for residents. Makes dinner those nights really easy! I really do love it here and encourage everyone to check it out!! I even made my sister and her husband get a place here when they moved to Peachtree Corners. It is nice to be close to them as well :)

Wonderful community. The apartment is clean and the amenities are great. You can hear birds chirping in the morning and there's a beautiful lake behind the apartment building. The leasing staff is very kind and friendly.

She even went out of her way to raise our AC so we wouldn't have a big power bill before we moved in, since we weren't moving in till 2 weeks after our lease started. She answered every question we have had and is extremely accommodating. Cortland seems to be very organized, clean and professional and am excited to spend many years here!

I absolutely love this community, Sandra took great care of us from the start and I genuinely feel safe living in this apartment, neighbors are super friendly and the trail in the back is absolutely stunning! There’s so much activities you can do and very peaceful, highly recommend living here.
