Cortland Bayside - Apartment complex in Clearwater - 19355 US Hwy 19 N, USA

We lived in Courtland for approximately a year. In my opinion when it comes to having a great apartment community experience it boils down to 4 things: The living space, amenities, office management and the residents. Here is my review of those four categories. The office staff is the best I have ever encountered. Work orders are closed within 48 hours if not sooner. The staff is genuine and friendly. They keep the landscape and Club House areas pristine 356 days a year. When an amenity (such as the weight room or gated entry) is down; they keep residents constantly informed and provide resolutions swiftly. The living spaces contain plenty of natural light and upscale finishes. The three bedroom unit we lived in had plenty of closet space and was spacious. We are three adults and a large dog and we felt comfortable during our stay. The amenities are very nice and as mentioned are kept clean and in working order with constant upkeep. The feel of the community is akin to living at a resort 24/7. The lagoon style pool is fantastic and is nestled next to hammocks and has palm trees placed all around which gives it a real tropical feel. An open space with gas fire places and outdoor furniture is also adjacent to the pool complete with televisions on the walls. The weight room is a little on the small side but does contain some free weights and machines. The Clubhouse contains a pool table and a space for entertaining guests and is nicely furnished. The community is located off of the Bay and residents have direct access to the Bay. The location is only 27 mins from downtown St Pete, 20 mins from Clearwater Beach, and 25 mins from downtown Tampa. And finally The Residents: We encountered many friendly people during our stay. Its an active community with people frequently walking their dogs. More than once we enjoyed refreshments poolside with music playing and everyone having a great time. As you can tell I am big fan of this community. If the opportunity were to presented itself again, I would move back with no hesitation. If you are considering moving to Cortland, do it. We absolutely loved our stay.

We have lived in Cortland Bayside for 2 years and we have absolutely loved our time here. The office and maintenance staff were always kind and responsive. The grounds were always kept clean and beautiful, like living in a resort. The location is perfect between Clearwater and Tampa. Happy to have called this place home. Highly recommend!!

She was one of the best leasing managers I've had the pleasure working with and I am forever grateful. She is very empathic and provides exceptional customer service. She takes the time to get to know you and helps you to identify your needs when finding a new home. I've waited a while after moving to Cortland Bayside to write this so I could share an honest review about living here. Overall I have enjoyed living here for the past 9+ months. I've met some wonderful people and have enjoyed every amenity the complex has to offer. With living in such close proximity to so many people there will eventually be a couple hick ups but the good days definitely out weigh the bad. The ladies in the office are so friendly and have helped us immediately with any issue we've had. The maintenance crew can be seen working all day everyday and are also very helpful, friendly & have dog treats ready. We use the dog park everyday and really enjoy meeting our neighbors and watching the dogs play together. The landscape company seems to be on the property a few times a week and keep it looking pristine. We've attended quite a few complex events and really appreciate the time and effort that the staff put into the events. I personally love the community center for coffee, the cabanas by the pool for relaxing and the long tables in the outdoor lobby for group dinners or game nights. The only frustrations I have living here is the lack of respect and pure laziness of some of my neighbors that don't pick up after their pets BUT rather than complain to the office over something they have no control over, I simply pick up the waste and dispose of it myself. I've noticed other neighbors doing that too. It doesn't make it less annoying but it does help keep our living space cleaner. And the other frustration is how thin the floor/ceilings are. We hear our upstairs neighbors quite a bit- I would suggest renting a 4th floor unit if it's available. The bay views at sunrise are breathtaking. The complex sits back off the main road and is nice & quiet. I looked at 5 other properties before finding Cortland and the other properties just didn't compare to Cortland Bayside.

Kirstyn had me all set up quicker than any leasing agent i saw or spoke with today! Update: move in was smooth, everyone here goes out of their way to make sure you know who they are and what they do. I met so many people on day 1 , they are ready to help you before you even need help! The team here is amazing and i honestly wish we would not have wasted time anywhere else! Thank you!

I toured these apartments! They are honestly breathtaking! From the gym to pool you have an amazing view of the ocean and the city. The apartments themselves are beautiful with a lot of natural light. 10 out 10 highly recommend!

Love the staff here at Cortland Bayside! They are always happy to help. Krysten and colleagues at the office are great. Lately I’ve been having trouble resetting the AC thermostat in my apartment and Porter was walking down the hall and I asked him if he could help me and he did a great job Resetting my AC thermostat Thanks for the great service!!!👍 My only problem here is the noise from the unit above. Soundproofing here is nonexistent. The heavy walking noise from unit above is mind numbing.I HATE IT!

Porter was my maintenance guy today and he was quick and efficient with his work. We had some door hinge issues and Porter came in and was bubbly and fixed all our doors within 15 minutes. I hope he’s our guy every time we have any maintenance issues! Thank you for helping us, Porter!!
