Cornerstone Minerals LLC - Rock shop in Asheville - 52 N Lexington Ave, USA

I was down in Greenville SC and went to their store there. On the way home (Ohio) we decided to make a stop in Asheville to eat and visit the city. We were walking around and we’re drawn in once I got inside I realized it was the same Cornerstone. This is their main location and has a really big and unique selection. Staff were just as amazing as the gems and stones they carry!!

I make the trek to the Asheville store twice a year for gifts for my gems/mineral collector. They have the best selection and prices I've seen, and I've been buying for over 20 years!

If you are a collector or just interested, this place is amazing! They have a wide variety of rocks and fossils.

Probably the best mineral shop I've been to. Extremely good variety , friendly staff, and the prices are what the individual sample is actually worth. Rather than say charging the same price for all the Kyanite, you will find that some go for around 40 while others are on sale for 3. The price is dependent on things like size, the amount of impurities, and how good the crystal are rather than just the specimen type. They also gave me a Galena and Dolomite Pesdomorph for free, and I was thrilled to find a Tanzanite crystal point for 25. Overall a great experience.

This shop has an amazing collection. We really enjoyed being able to see all of the really cool items here today!

I thoroughly enjoyed my impromptu visit to Cornerstone. In town for a wedding, my friends and I stopped in to browse their lovely selection of crystals and mineral specimens. Squirrel was very helpful, friendly, and informative as they shared information about the local geological features and specimens offered by the shop. We left very satisfied, having purchased some excellent and low-priced pieces and viewed many others. 💓

This place is like a small museum. Well put together and labels tell you everything you need to know as you walk through. Prices are on par with most other rock shops like it. You get what you pay for when dealing with larger pieces. The chick at the counter with the wild hair knew her stuff too and was very helpful and friendly. Will be back
