Food was amazing! Restaurant was busy but the manager made sure to acknowledge all the customers and reassure them that their food was coming. Staff was courteous and again food was amazing!
First time here the food was delicious, good portions. We left with about 4 Togo containers. Great location and atmosphere. We didn’t get a chance to taste the cornbread but everything else was great. The staff was also very friendly and attentive and we will definitely be back. 😊
Cool spot in Montclair that just opened, I have had it several times and it’s always good the chicken is clean and crispy, the fish is very tasty and the sides are really good. I also like the service and the atmosphere of the place. They have great variety of juices and lastly their cornbread is insane, I don’t really eat that but theirs is really good. Enjoy
Amazing food, amazing service, can’t wait to come again. Owner was super friendly, engaging with our little party and made sure we were taken care of. Chicken was fresh and crispy, mac and cheese was creamy and dreamy, and their house iced tea…WHEW! If you’re craving true soul food…you need to stop here!
The food was amazing!! Wasn’t expecting so much food for a great price but definitely well worth it all. Ordered the turkey wings with two sides and the yellow rice and cabbage was great! Would greatly recommend for a nice soulful date night.
Great food, good drinks, I had the catfish with rice and gravy and black eyed peas, with a side of Mac and cheese.. and their signature drink southern twang.. now they did forget our cornbread but made sure to get it to us before we left!

Delicious food all around! The portion sizes are just right. A must try is their Southern Twang drink. As for their cornbread it’s a perfect combination of sweetness and it doesn’t fall apart in your hands. The guys who work there make you feel right at home and are super attentive. Thumbs up!
