My wife tried the chicken sliders and enjoyed every bite. That grilled chicken sandwich is delicious, those seasoned fries just great. Had to wait about 45 minutes for food but that was okay well worth the time. We will return for more.
Decided to give this place a try today, 1.3.2024, around 12 noon. I ordered 2 Cod slider combos, and it came with French fries and a Smash Burger Combo. The Cod sliders were the best I ve had in a very long time 10/10. Cod was fresh and well seasoned with excellent quality. The signature sauce and the topings were very good and offered flavors that pared well together.
*The Fries were not so good. They were pretty bland with little to no flavor. I wish it came with some dipping sauce on the side or more of that red seasoning on the fries. The fries taste like Burger King fries. They were crispy.
*Smash Burger was pretty good. The customer service was pretty good, and the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming for a food truck location inside of a gas station parking lot. Order took about 25-30 minutes, and he delivered my order to my car. Spent about $50 altogether. Will definitely try again if I'm in the Dearborn area.
Corn don’t play! It was delicious! Quick service and good is made to order. So you need to be patient. When I tell you it’s worth it, it’s worth it! The shrimp were fried perfectly with delicious seasoning and sauce. The corn was amazing; crunchy and full of flavor. The wings were yummy, we dipped them in the honey oh boy! Chicken strips were so tender and juicy, perfectly fried! Pudding was smooth and creamy. We can’t wait to go back! Will definitely be in constant rotation!
The owner asked me to make a review if I liked the food and I decided to make one before I even try they food because my experience was already good enough that even if the food sucks ill most likely go back for the vibes. They had great service, great conversation, and they took a medium amount of time. They're medium expensive and they have good hours of operation. 12pm-3am, perfect for a wholesome family meal and a night owl snack. After trying the food I can say that I'm very impressed. I ordered the sujuk grilled cheese and the corn with all the fixings. I did expect the corn to be on the cob but now that it isn't I'm not mad tbh. It's delicious and not messy. The grilled cheese made me literally gasp LMAO it's good af if u like sujuk and cheese and sour dough and I love all three so I'm a happy camper. Will be returning for sure and if you go because of this review tell them Alia Seblini sent you and inshallah they get enough business from it that they'll cover my next midnight snack LMAO
The Crispy Cancun has a unique and delicious flavor combo and in my opinion, is the best chicken sandwhich in the area. I don’t know what they put in that sauce, but it’s incredible. The fries are delicious—a bit citrusy but it works very well. Only downside is the lack of consistency. I’ve ordered a few times and it was a miss, other times it’s amazing. When it’s good though, it’s GOOD.
I never would have thought that I would eat corn with mayo and cheese on it. It was delicious. The corn was sweet and the seasoning was just right
This was my first time visiting late night at 2am. I wanted something different. I purchased the Turkey Cubano ($15) and the banana pudding ($15). The gentleman that took my order, I think Sam, comped me the corn to try, El Chopo. I spent $35 on the sandwich, fries and pudding.
The Turkey Cubano is good. I never had corn on a sandwich but all the flavors together made palette happy. I am a meat girl the sandwich could have had more meat but still it was good.
I bought banana pudding from a soul food restaurant earlier in the day and it wasn't all that great but the Corn on the Corner is a must buy! Since it was late and the gas station was full I parked on the lot behind the food truck plus it was easier to make my exit. As far as the price....well it's a food truck. It's food truck priced 🤷♀️. I would definitely go back again to try the chicken 🐔 and the pudding. Also they have music playing outside and expect a wait at certain times. This is a popular truck. Great customer service. My food was brought to my car.
UPDATE:
Today Corn on the Corner surprised me with a chocolate banana pudding. If you like chocolate it is good. You don't really taste the banana but still good. On the top there is like a thin layer of fudge brownie, vanilla wafers and possibly banana/chocolate pudding mixed together according to my taste buds.
We ordered 2 chicken Cancun, and we waited almost 45min. The portions were really small for a sub this expensive, and we were not full at all. And they did not warn us about the spicy fries that was waaaayyy too spicy and we specifically asked "we don’t want anything spicy", you guys should understand that not everyone likes their food spicy. The sub was good but the overall experience was not what we expected.
Today was our first time to Corn on the Corner and OMG it was delicious. My husband and I couldn’t decide on which corn to share, and when they brought our food to the car, they gave us a sample of the one we didn’t get! They were all very friendly and helpful and everything we got was DELICIOUS. Better than a sit down restaurant, honestly. The banana pudding… JUST GET IT. Seriously. We had the Nashville Hot Chicken Grilled Cheese and the Cod Sliders… all yummy. Will def be going back sooner rather than later.
Tried this burger joint. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Every was friendly, and the food was top-notch. The owner suggested we leave room for dessert, so we did. It was great as well. We will return.
The blueberry smoothie was an explosion of flavor, and the owner's hospitality was akin to having a personal therapistâit was a refreshing and comforting experience, highly recommended!
This place was one of the highlights of our visit to Detroit. Good food, served fresh and made with love. You can not go wrong stopping here.
I went with a big family and they had something for everyone. Can't wait to return! Do yourselves a favour
Very nice Halal American and Mediterranean menu. Mac n Cheese bites were great. Burgers were good. Waffle fries were great. lamb chops were cooked perfectly. The Kunafa ice cream dessert was amazing. Even the Cappuccino was really good.
I wanted a bacon cheeseburger so bad and was so glad to see they had beef bacon. The burger tasted seasoned and was the perfect size. The loaded tater tot appetizer was SO good. We opted to get it without the chili. We had amazing milkshakes. The oni
We stopped here for brunch due to another restaurant had an hour wait. We made the best choice! Although they were equally busy the staff was amazing! I wish I had our waitress name at the bar because she was phenomenal. She was busy but attentive, g
