The history of America, touring America one national Park at a time

An excellent historical site. The park is small. It is never crowded. There is a small amount of parking. It is well marked. The statues are descriptive of life in the camp. Visit the Civil War Interpretive Center first in order to gain a better appreciation of the camp. Couple this with a visit to the Afro-American History Museum.

It is wonderful that Corinth has kept this space allocated to commemorate this part of history. I felt they could have more here, perhaps reconstruct some of the structures instead of just open space/a park.

There wasn't much information other than two signs. Would have loved to known more.

It's a lovely place to go and visit u can catch up on your history, there is a circular walking trail, or u can sit and meditate. Great location great for the family
