Glad I found this spot, reminds me of protein bar in Chicago. Healthy options, the Large bowl is really large and the price is very reasonable. Had the BBQ chicken ranch and it was delicious. Can’t wait to try the other options.
The food felt fresh and ingredients nice. The portions were small. I got the Sriracha ginger tofu and it was okay. The sauce was tasty but it didn't feel like a complete meal. The broccoli cheddar soup was disgusting, worse I've ever had. Overall okay experience.
We order Core Life often and enjoy it, however the last two times I’ve ordered for carry-out I have been given the wrong bone broth. (Ordered large chipotle chicken broth and received beef broth which I unfortunately had to throw out as I don’t eat beef-$15 literally down the drain.) The chipotle chicken broth is so delicious and it’s incredibly disappointing to open up the broth container only to find it’s not what I ordered. I was understanding the first time it happened as I know mistakes happen, but more frustrated after it happened again. One of the bowls I ordered today was missing a sauce it usually comes with as well…I guess from now on I’ll have to thoroughly check my order before I head home.
I also hope that Core Life comes up with some new bowl combinations. While I like my “go-to” bowls, I feel like they would benefit from some new ones as they’ve had the same for quite some time (and got rid of the chicken tinga bowl which was so good!)
Nice concept and good service, but cold. As in the food is cold (ingredients are kept cold and mixed that way), and surprisingly the restaurant was well below comfortable temps. Left place still hungry. Smoothies were good, and nice selection of juices. You can get vegan and meat dishes here. Creat your own offers a lot of options.
I usually make my salad and it's great! I love the sweet potato bits I think that you get better flavor when they have been sitting longer rather than straight fresh out of the oven. Ik it sounds crazy, but trust me!
One of the best spots in Ann Arbor for a wholesome, healthy meal! Reminds me of a more customizable, and creative version of chipotle.
Pros:
lots of signature bowls and make your own bowls!, affordable,
lots of healthy options,
nice employees
Cons:
the noodles in the Thai peanut bowl today were very hard (surprising because I’ve never had this issue before),
location isn’t ideal for most students in Ann Arbor but that’s barely a real con
PRO TIP: get the core life app for $5 off first order!
Highly recommend! The flavors have never disappointed and I always go here after one too many unhealthy meal
We just had dinner for the 1st time at the newly opened CoreLife Eatery located in Ann Arbor’s Westgate Shopping Center. They have many healthy options, including salads and bowls... they offer suggested bowls, plus build-your-own options — more than any other spot in town. Because it is a new place I am willing to try it a few times to give them time to get everything right. I ordered the Korean barbecue pork rice bowl, only they ran out of pork so we substituted beef. The steak in my bowl was warm, not hot. The food assembly was good until the last station, they forgot to add the house made BBQ sauce. And I only noticed that because the bowl was rather dry. So I had to go back for that. The beef was well done and a bit chewy. The drinks are all natural and quite refreshing. Everything is competitively priced. All in all it was a better than average experience with room for some improvements. Next time I’ll try the Cobb salad and see if I can adjust my rating up.
One of the employees took my food order then asked me if I wanted any drinks. I told him I wanted a shake. He then told me I should have told him sooner because it needs to be made first. Confused me because why didn’t he ask me first then? Potbelly has this down. Also the portions are painfully skimpy and it costs a fortune. I was pretty mad when I left and just wanted something healthy and different to eat. Oh well, never going again.

I got medium spicy thinking I would shielded from the demonic forces that loom. However after one bite it felt like the gates of hell had opened in my mouth. But, beyond the river styx was the most juicy chicken Iâve ever eaten. Perfect texture, pe
First time at Jefferson Market and it did not disappoint. We had the egg and cheese biscuit and the breakfast burrito, both excellent. Wonderful service too. We will definitely be back!

Wow, one of the best and most intimate dining experiences we have had in Ann Arbor. We went and had their December menu and everything was divine. I love how they give you specific wine pairings to go with the menu, anywhere from reds all the way to
