Coral Sushi - Sushi restaurant in Huntersville - 9525 Birkdale Crossing Dr, USA

I know this will sound silly. I am stuck overnight in facilities for work and order delivery a lot. I am so sick of sushi places sending this cheap useless soy sauce in their orders. This is not appropriate to use with sushi. This is not Japanese soy sauce. It doesn't have to be nikiri but can it at least be kikkoman!? The texture and flavor are nowhere near the same and I think it's shameful to sell sushi and not know better! At home I have soy sauce and can use that when this failure happens but at work I'm now stuck with useless food unless I can find somewhere to order soy sauce from. Ridiculous!

My friend introduced me to Coral around 9 years ago. It’s no longer as close to me but when I make the trek out here it’s always more than worth it. The service is fantastic, the prices are great, the quality is astronomical, the variety is second to none. There are not enough words meaning amazing in the English language to describe this place.

Tried 3 rolls and the bang bang shrimp. The ultimate roll was my favorite with the lobster, but all were really good. The bang bang shrimp was just ok, too much mayo for my liking. Will try a different appetizer next time, but will def be back for the specialty rolls. Prices are reasonable. 3 rolls and app was about $50.

I will start off by saying Sophie was a good waitress. I will say I was not a fan of the Empire roll. I had one piece and I couldn’t eat the rest. Salmon roll was ehhh not the best. I could tell by the color of the sushi it wasn’t the best quality. The Ikura was good. The appetizers didn’t wow me. I would say this place had a lot of choices. In my opinion they might have to vast of a menu which why they are lacking in certain areas.

Tonight asked to duplicate what I had a month ago. Pleasantly impressed again!! Need to get my combination on their menu. Dassai 45 sake is not on their menu, so have to ask. Excellent combination!! You should try. 👍

My wife and I just moved to the Huntersville area from the Raleigh area. I am born and raised from North Carolina. This place has phenomenal soup and sushi and God knows what else. Hot and sour soup, WOW. We recommend the scorpion roll. Thanks Coral.

Our go-to sushi restaurant. Very consistent, great quality, and great value. Friendly staff. Located in retail strip there is plenty of nearby parking. Indoor and outdoor dining space is available.

The staff at Coral Sushi are attentive, helpful, and kind. It's always a pleasure walking in and being greeted so warmly. I absolutely love the non-spicy pad thai. The flavors are incredible, and it's always fresh. The portion size is generous and can provide 2 or 3 meals for me, depending on my hunger level. Try the spring rolls. They are tasty! I've tried a few different sushi rolls. Most are good. A few seemed to lack flavor, but always very fresh. I highly recommend a visit. It's worth it!
