Good little hotel. We stayed here for our visit to SF. It was nice to have a little kitchenette and access to laundry. Could use a little updating and the beds were rock hard but got decent nights sleep for a good price. Convenient to the beach and little shops and restaurants.
The location of the Inn is great. The location is safe, just a bit noisy which was unexpected. Much has changed over the years. After all, I hadn't stayed there since the Naval Base was open. Not bad though!
This is a really disgusting hotel and not just because the way it looks
(outdated) but ITS SO DIRTY =(. you can literally see pee on the shower curtains, the kitchen had no dishes or silverware, the hot water stayed for about 5 minutes or less so we had to take 3 shower! OH AND to put the cherry on top of the sundae the maid was standing in my living room just standing there.....I was like we check out at 12......Maybe they should have communicated that. I have never felt so gross in my entire life at a hotel.
The room was clean but very old. The furniture and carpet was very used. The rates were good based on the area.
A very quiet place, with amenities we needed to recover from surgery. As some might think it is a bit dated, we found it to be to our liking. And all sorts of shops nearby.
Have been to Alameda before, didn't stay here because of the terrible reviews. Paid much more for AirBnB, etc. Big error.|This place is dumpy, but not THAT dumpy. Could be cleaner, nicer (some furniture/carpet stains -- just like the Marriott), but it was QUIET! And sparsely occupied. The people that we did see were nice and normal. Got a room with a kitchen overlooking the mud-pit/lagoon. Plenty big for my wife and I and everything worked, including the sliding glass door/screen to the balcony, AC and heat. No kitchen utensils/pots, but coffee maker worked and fridge was clean. You can get kitchen supplies from the front desk, I believe. Didn't use the pool, but it looked good. Breakfast was marginal, but met expectations. Parking was a breeze. Get an inside room facing the courtyard, or one looking at the lagoon. Bang for the buck: superlative. The only place to stay on the island. Can walk across the street to a large shopping center with a Safeway, restaurants and a gym. Can also walk a several mile paved path running along the bay. Very easy to make reses on the web, had to cut our stay short, no problem or extra fees. Not the Four Seasons, but will certainly stay there again.
Unfortunately I don’t recommend this hotel. The bed is not comfortable. The ac is noisy. The floor makes noise. There’s no gym. Coffee and hot water is cold. And just a reminder that every time you go to San Francisco you have to pay toll both ways :(.
I was eating across the street and noticed Pinball Museum sign. I'm always very curious, so I walked in and was blown away.
More than what I imagined. Cashier explained everything in detail and broke down pricing and gave me a brief description and
Very unique old school video arcade located in Alameda's busiest commercial district. Pay for unlimited plays for a certain amount of time.
Decent selection of games range from the oldies like centipede and Pac-Man and Tron up to somewhere more mode
The drip coffee was bold and had good flavor. My wife liked her matcha latte. We also had an Ube Mochi cake which was amazing. The staff were friendly and quick. Iâll be coming back here.
Hidden gem in Alameda! Or maybe itâs not a hidden gem, and everyone knows this place. Regardless, all the dishes that we ordered were really good.
- Basil fried rice (super fragrant)
- BBQ lemongrass pork ribs (fall off the bone tender)
- Stuffed c
My partner and I stopped in here for a light dinner. We had a few cocktails and tried the charcuterie board and Margarita flatbread pizza. We really enjoyed everything we tried and had an amazing night. We will definitely be coming back here for date
Great variety of local beers on tap ranging from juicy IPAs to malt-forward stouts, all made with Admiral Maltings' malted grain. They even had local whiskies made with their malts, (will have to try those next time), and they offer tours of their fa
Nice and cool area with the breeze from the bay air. Perfect place for large and small dogs. Pretty bustling on the weekends with so many pups playing. There's always a trashcan within and reach to drop off the dookies.
