Coral Key Inn - Featured Reviews (242)
I been going to Lauderdale by the sea for over 15 yrs I usually stay ocean front condos but this year it was a little pricy, I found Coral Key Inn and I was impress. The condos are one minute from the ocean the service was outstanding and Gee on the front desk was amazing. I keep extending my stay day by day and help me out with two other reservation, has anew BBQ by the pool if you like to grill. This is my new condo from now on. Thank you Gee and Coral Inn.
Refresh for this hotel was very well done. The exterior is painted and the rooms seem much cleaner. Coffee filters and coffee were provided and the refrigerator had ice cube trays. The living area was comfortable as well as the beds. The large walk in closet was great for hanging wet swim suits and towels. The pool area was enjoyable and much cleaner than the last time we stayed here. Highly recommend. Good value.
I had a lovely one night stay at this hotel. The bed was very comfy. Really, my only complaint is no water or COFFEE in the room, or ice maker on premise. There is a full kitchen unit though, if you have time to go shopping. And, there are restaurants and breakfast options nearby. The beach is a stones throw away. Very nice and comfy place with kind and caring guest service.
Very disappointed. Ordinarily my husband are able to reserve the same room and dates for the following year upon check out.
Apparently, that is no longer the case. We have been staying at the Coral Key Inn for several years because it has a great location, so needless to say we were extremely disappointed when we were told that there wasn't any availability for our requested arrival and departure dates in 2025. Also, we were told that the room rates had gone up $50 dollars a night which increased the room rate to $300 a night. Definitely not worth it, especially since nothing has been updated in at least 4 years.
The shower pipes bang and shake when trying to adjust the temperature; the toilet flushed sometimes (the handle was falling off); the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine, the gate was never locked. We were willing to overlook these problems because we loved the location. Guess we'll be looking for somewhere else to stay for next year.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Coral Key Inn. ||We had a one bedroom apartment that was very spacious. The large bedroom had a king bed and a very large walk-in closet.||They have 2 pools. The one which faces Del Mar and has the largest pool patio was very cold, while the one that faces Ocean Blvd. was perfect.||The building and palm trees are lit up beautifully at night.||It is only steps to a beach portage entry directly across the street. Many of the units have an ocean view through a park directly across the street on Del Mar.||Groceries are just a few blocks away at the Publix as are all the bars and restaurants downtown.||The air conditioner in the kitchen had some drainage issues and needed to be shut off but the one in the bedroom worked fine. They were unable to get the one in the kitchen fixed during our brief stay but it was not a problem as the local temperatures were fairly moderate in January and the larger one in the bedroom offered some cooling capability to the rest of the apartment.||The hotel manger, Sevim, was very personable and helpful. She is very customer focused. She invited us to store our luggage in her office until we were able to check-in. We are able to check-in about 2.5 hours before the 3:00 normal check-in.
We expected more from this establishment. Therefore a mixed review on various items. The pricing was great and location spot on. The motel was undergoing some updates while we were there however, from what I can see nothing spectacular. The rooms while clean are in dire need of furniture upgrades and bathroom upgrades. Sevil, the Manager is lovely. The girl at the front desk needs a personality check. We have tried several places along this strip in LBTS, this is by far not our favourite. Be sure to read all the instructions in the room regarding eating in bed, towel usage and $50. 00 deposit for beach towels that are the quality from the dollar store and given their size not really a beach towel. The last thing you want to worry about on vacation is following instructions on towel usage. The bed was comfortable (Murphy Bed) the kitchenette is well stocked. The place is just ok for us.
Positive: The hotels front desk manager, hotel employee was friendly and very helpful. The room size was great. Loved the pool. Negative: Our room could use some updating. It was missing a hand towel rack and wastebasket in the bathroom. Couch looked old and dingy as did the kitchen chairs. The remotes needed to be cleaned. Negative: ""
My husband and I stayed here during a last-minute trip to see a concert at the Hard Rock. There is nothing bad I can say about Coral Key Inn. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We were able to get early check in and late check out with no problems. The room was updated, clean and had everything we needed. The location is excellent!! An easy walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. We loved staying in the A building in the back and being able to walk right out to the clean, heated pool. We are already planning another trip to Lauderdale by the Sea and the Coral Key Inn will be our go to place to stay.

This quaint place was quite a pleasure! In general, it was an older crowd, which led to a very quiet environment. The pool area was a great place to relax after a day on the beach. All of the staff were exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. The k
Very old resort, but very clean. Furnishings were good. Location is great. Many restaurants within walking distance. Caters to an older crowd, which was great for us. We will return to this resort in the future.
Tides Inn was, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed in all my trips to Florida in my 62 years. I was amazed at how beautifully kept this property was. It was absolutely pristine! My room was perfect. The mattress on the beds were like s

this place was absolutely amazing. we ended up extending our trip because of how much of an amazing time we were having. domenica assisted me and my family with majority of our stay and she was absolutely fantastic. she was made for being in hospital
As a very big fan of good Italian food (talking about Italian food in Italy) I can say, one of the few restaurants impressed me outside Italy. Very good food. Even in Italy you donât find the choice of food so easy, they serve here. Feels like I am
It is a great beach with a local vibe. It is not very crowded or touristy. There is limited parking which is a plus when you are looking to avoid crowds. It is clean and well maintained.
Shop has plenty to look at , great for beach Go'ers. Owner is super Curtious and helpful! Very nice trinkets for those stopping through town. Got some nice Keychains for the wife and kid!
Everything about this experience was exceptional. Our server Sergio kept our drinks and bellyâs full the entire time. He brought out different small plates to try and each one was absolutely delicious. He was very personable and great at his job.
