Copper Door - American restaurant in Bedford - 15 Leavy Drive, USA

This was a great spot to stop for lunch. Fair warning for you bourbon drinkers..the Wiggle Room Manhattan will sneak up on you. They limit to only 2 per person for good reason. Buffalo Cauliflower was fantastic as was the sheppards pie. Perfect comfort food on a cold rainy day. When will NH get some snow??

We went there for the first time while traveling. We are so glad we did, it was a nice surprise. We would actually give the food at 4 1/2, but can’t rate it like that and so that’s why it says a four. I had the Apple Bacon Grilled Cheese (minus the bacon 🥓 and arugula 🥬 and I really enjoyed it. My husband had the regular grilled cheese 🧀 and tomato soup and he said he would give it a four (4). We both ate the creamy crab 🦀 dip for an appetizer, and absolutely loved it. Not only did we think it tasted really …. good, but it was a substantial amount for an appetizer. We would give the crab 🦀 dip a five (5). We both loved the unique way they served the tea and enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, my husband also thought the waitress did a very good job. If we’re ever out that way again, we would definitely look at going go there. It was a very nice lunch and helped to start our vacation out on a positive note.

Excellent food service and atmosphere. Many delicious food options. Seasonal specials, great drink options including mock tails. Very clean restrooms. Large bar with TVs. Extra tall vaulted ceilings makes for a lovely open atmosphere and you can’t forget the amazing Copper door!

Food was great as always, got the crab dip and green goddess salad! Sat at the bar for the first time, drinks were absolutely phenomenal! Bartenders are very personable and attentive, shout out to Tyler C. for such great service and drinks!

My husband and I made reservations. We were seated within 5 minutes of checking in. Dining room is dimly lit. Our server Brianna was very friendly and on point. We each ordered drinks. They were so-so. The french onion soup was hot and flavorful. The crust on the supreme pizza was comparable to some in New York. But the star was the Cowboy BBQ Pork Shank. Wow - the meat was fall off the bone tender and I do mean that I did NOT have to use a knife! Didn't care for the bbq sauce but the fried brussel sprouts and onion straws and mashed potatoes were all good. All in all a good meal.

Recently moved out of state and my husband and I always reminisce about the Copper Door - we miss it and always try to sneak a date at the bar whenever we’re in town. Have yet to get a better French onion soup anywhere, and they always put the meatloaf on two separate plates when we split it without us having to request that. We’d be happy to share a plate to save them the step but just another instance of their going above and beyond… There isn’t a bad dish on the menu and the service is always excellent. A must-try spot in New Hampshire, and don’t skip dessert.

I picked up takeout dinner to have at home with my husband. The hostess greeted me with a smile as soon as I entered. The restaurant bar and dining area were both busy and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very inviting. The food was delicious!

Great food and great staff. This place was a great find. Will definitely be coming back. There are several dishes I wanna try.
