Copeland's of New Orleans - Cajun restaurant in Harvey - 2333 Manhattan Blvd, USA

This place is considered the OG of the well known Popeyes franchise (I was told by a local). The food Herr was absolutely awesome. Service was friendly and direct. The food here had so much flavor and the biscuits was setting similar to Popeyes, but better. I would go here again and try more items if I had time. This is a must go to if you are visiting New Orleans.

Just to clarify, I can't say enough good things about our server. She was excellent. We haven't been to Copelands in a few years. It seems like a different restaurant now. Maybe older, worn out, tired? It seems to have lost its excitement. This used to be the go-to place. On a good note, the food did have good presentation.

So it’s been over 12 years since I’ve been to a Copeland’s and my coworker wanted to eat there for lunch. Customer service was cool. The food was not. I cook my own meals as well as eat out A LOT, and don’t mind spending money but this was not it. The noodles were hard, not boiled completely..the sauce didn’t have a taste, and it was watery. Not a fan. Maybe it was a bad day but man..

Amazing food. Liked it so much, we ate there twice on a four day trip. Crab claws are amazing.

My food was amazing 10/10. I had the shrimp etuffe and it was very good. It had a little to much pepper though. The service was amazing 10/10. The server was very quick with everything and nice. If I could, I would rate the atmosphere a 9.5/10 There was a crying baby next to my table half of our time there. 10/10 Overall. Would recommend.

Really loved this place. Food was really good, service was excellent. Y'all can definitely cook. Everyone was so friendly. Thank you for a great first time experience and military discount.

We went for Sunday brunch and it was absolutely delicious! Our waitress, Dionne, was exceptional. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned to a tee. The California omelette was tasty and let’s not forget the biscuit! You’ll definitely need a to-go box

Stay away from order takeout we’ve given them several chances to redeem themselves but takeout is terrible. No curbside pickup is happening as posted, says food will be ready at a certain time and you still have to wait an extra 30 minutes. Small portions. Tonight was our last night ordering takeout from here.
