First time here. From the time you pull up to the place, you know you have found a true gem. The pits sit outside. And you pick your meat straight from the pit! A huge assortment of yummy goodness! We had a little bit of pork ribs, brisket, beef ribs and sausage. Inside, where you pick your sides, which are also yummy goodness, is where you have the meat sliced. The dining area is unique. You sit at picnic tables and eat family style. This place is a 5 star Texas BBQ joint and so worth the trip.

If you want an authentic Texas BBQ, that Natives love, try heading to Coopers! You better get there early though! They sell out of favorites FAST! Literally the best meat in our state. I recommend the beef ribs. They don't even give you a knife with em because they are so tender they'll right off the bone and onto your dang plate! You only need a fork! Boy howdy! Yum! Yum! 😍

I have always loved this location in Llano. From walking to the pit, picking your meat and choosing to get it sauced or not, to waking inside and picking your sides. They have all the standards and more. Pork chops and sirloin. The meat is all great. My favorite is the beef rib. The sides are also equally great. Jalapeno mac and cheese is my choice. Don't miss the cobbler. If you are wondering why there are no beans, it's because the beans are always free and help yourself in the dining room. And the brand are great. This is the location you want to visit. Worth the drive if you are not in Llano.

Absolutely love this place. It was a Monday night near close so there were some quirks like no bread on tables. But the beans, and sauce were spot on. Had 2 types of Brisket, Jalapeno sausage and Beef Ribs. All very yummy. Sweet tea is still toe curling sweet - the best!! Thanks again. I can't go here enough.

Best BBQ i have found at a restaurant, period. This is our second trip in a year, both times out of our way. We tried the beef ribs and prime ribs this time.. absolutely awesome. Af course we got pork ribs and brisket too which are very good. We will continue to go out of our way to hit Cooper's!

Flew into the Llano airport on Dec. 31, my wife and I had lunch at Cooper's for the first time. The service was great, the Brisket was as good as Texas brisket should be, the pork ribs were great, the sausage was good, but could be a bit more smoked, the turkey was great, (the beef ribs looked great, sorry didn't get some), the potato salad was very good, the beans very good, the BBQ sauce was a watery type like Kansas City?, prefer thicker and a bit sweet,...the one big disappointment was the green beans (french cut and mushy and off flavor)..... all in all, we plan to come again! Very friendly and helpful staff.

Every time I visit Texas I stop at Cooper’s with my family. Great place for Ribs and a perfect steak.

Wow their BBQ is so far the best I’ve ever had. We were driving cross country with our dog and found this hidden gem. The ribs was sooo good, the fat was so savory and it melted in my mouth. The brisket was soft and delicious! They didn’t have a regular bbq sauce but their sauce is so much better. On top of that, they have tables outside right across the restaurant and we were able to enjoy lunch with our golden.
