Cool City Motel - Motel in Two Rivers - 3009 Lincoln Ave, USA

My wife and I only lasted about 3 hours at this establishment i give 0 stars to. The toilet was filthy, refrigerator had mildew and mold and the bedding was not clean. We know it couldn't be clean because upon our checkout we advised the manager of blood stains on the bed. Also we found signs of an assault as we found a broken bathroom door and blood spatter on the entry door, walls, and floor. I was told I would be refunded nearly 90$ for the horrific experience we had at CoolCity Motel. I really hope a refund will be on my card at some point because the manager did seem very disappointed and apologetic. Either way this was a very sad and time wasting experience on a day we really just needed a break. I owe my wife so much more than a stressful getaway to an unsafe and unsanitary room. This isn't ok. ☹

Went here last night for the 1st time and what an awesome impression they made. AAA service first of all. They were super busy, so was our assigned waitress, so who shows up? One of the owners! Not to take our order but to welcome us and let us feel appreciated and not ignored. (The complete opposite of our first and only night at Petskull) ||||Next? Their beer🍻 , I got a flight which was a great, large selection. I do prefer a fruity type of beer which they really didn't have, but that's ok, not everyone does have fruity beer all the time. Next? We had flights of their burgers, their cheese curd flight, then got all five cheesecakes to go: no explanation needed. ||||After dinner we went to the bar, gorgeous, polished huge brewing tanks in the background. Sorry, don't know the proper term for them at the moment. Also bought multiple Cool City tops: sweatshirt, super cool flannel shirt and t-shirt. ||||I'd offer only ONE suggestion: FISH 🐠🐟 ! ||||See you soon and a lot more!

Our room was small but adequate. There was a standard size bed, a sofa, 2 chairs, a "dresser", an older TV set. No bad odors. Room was clean. This motel is older and has not been extensively remodeled or updated. It is not going to suit someone who must have those things....newer bathroom fixtures, decor, etc. But my husband and I found it to be perfectly adequate. Big shower. Plenty of hot water. Good water pressure. A/C works great. Room had a screen door so you could leave the "main" door open and get fresh air which is always nice in my book. Things look older and more dated...furnishings, decor, fixtures, etc. Very budget friendly.

Wonderful place to stay. Very well heated in the winter time. Blinds need new updates and the bedding sheets should be updated. Showers are well adapted. Pressure felt terrific. Televisions channels were a little hard to figure out.

Arriving in Two Cities, WI, we had reservations at the world acclaimed Cool City Motel. Upon arrival we entered the spacious lobby and were met at the front desk by a well attired gentleman. Check-in was smooth and painless.||||Opening the door to my suite was a once in a lifetime experience for this veteran traveler. The room gave me an amazing vibe and a renewed sense of myself and what is good in this world.||||The king sized memory foam bed had the best linens I have ever slept on. Thread count had to be in the thousands. The pillows were as comfortable as can be imaginable. The level of sleep that I had these three nights was Zen-like!||||The bathroom was a spa. The jetted tub could hold 4, or so it seemed. The shower had not 1, 2, or 3 shower heads, but 4. Every nook and cranny of my body was as clean as ever. The salon grade resort towels were a nice touch. Awesome!! Le Bain du Paris!!||||Carlton the concierge was a highlight of the stay. He knew the finest dining, theater and tours reservations in Two Rivers. What a joy he was.||||Needless to say, we will be staying at this "Gem on the Lake" next time our party comes through the area.

We hadn't planned on staying here but our regular motel had storm damage. It's not fancy but the room was very clean. The heater worked well and we had no issues with the wi-fi. |If you're seeking a fancy resort type motel this is not for you but for a basic stay it was very good.

Booked a double room here to stay with husband and 2 small kids. Room was cheap so we didn't expect much, but our room was filthy. The carpet was full of hair, food, tons of bugs (alive and dead), the shower had a used dirty razor left on the ground, when turning the sheets down, the sheets had clearly not been washed as they had tons of stains, long hairs, short black hairs and crumbs. We were disgusted and went to the office to ask for our money back. When telling the manager our complaint, he said his cleaning lady said she had cleaned and he refunded our money with no issues. This is why I am ok with giving 1 star because he was quick to refund us. We have stayed in many "cheaper" motels and have never came across conditions like these. Behind the door there was a huge pile bugs that were piling up. This place needs to be shut down or have a huge makeover.

Good rates, friendly staff, rooms are reflective of rates. Have stayed a few times and always found them clean and comfortable. Dog friendly. On one occasion we had paid but had to cancel and received a full refund with a smile. Not always typical.
