Cook Out - Restaurant in Tifton - 1401 US-82, USA

Great location with a spacious dining area. Food and service were good. Second to the last chance for Cook Out goodness for anyone headed down South to Florida.

For fast food - it’s a solid 4! Can’t beat the price point - $20.27 for 2 hot dogs, fries, onion rings, a cookies n’ cream thick milkshake and a coke float. That does not complete the order…added is a chicken sandwich, chicken wrap, hush puppies & another coke float. Again $20.27! If you are looking ambience - this is not the place…it’s fast food (& it’s better than McD’s). It is SIMPLE seating with booths and table tops with metal chairs. Bonus:They offer a drink station - refill as you wish.

Service a little slow and not really with a smile, food took a bit and was ok. Cheese bites great, fries not really crisp or flavorful. Fancy shake was tasty but took a long while. Floor was wet and some tables were dirty in spite of just opening. Drive through got priority over in store customers.

Sadly, this location was very disappointing. We usually love Cook Out and stopped while traveling. It took 25 minutes to get 3 hot dogs and 1 burger. There were plenty of people working but they were focusing on the drive thru while leaving those of us inside waiting. My small burger was significantly smaller than the bun and was paper thinner. The bathroom was filthy and there was no soap to wash your hands. The food was good and the employees very friendly. However, this location does not represent the Cook Out standards we are used to.

The location I was at was disappointing. Walked in and waited about 5 minutes to even get my the lady to take my order, walked past me to fill her sofa soda cup. Walked past me again to set it down, then came over, and I was the only one inside. Inside tables were not cleaned off, seats were literally sticky. Ordered the 2 sides with my tray and literally only got 3 little onion rings. Slaw had no taste. Employee's seemed more worry about taking breaks (roughly 3) than anything else.

Check your food before you leave the drive thru. When the order is correct, the food is great. Utensils, napkins, straws, and sauce packets sometimes cease to exist after midnight, but that's nothing a quick check can't fix.

After a super long day beginning at 6:00 a.m. and got to the hotel at midnight my husband was hungry and went to cook out as he loves that place. He had a very simple order of two chili cheese dogs with onions and mustard. He gets back to the hotel and has a hot dog with onions and mustard no chili, no cheese! With the price they charge you at takeout places this is ridiculous. God forbid it was any harder of an order? Very disappointed as this is the only thing my husband had to eat today! They should reply to this and give him a FREE coupon for the same meal... Let's see if this will happen?

First, I will say the food was pretty good. However, waiting 30 mins for a "fast food" order is pretty ridiculous. To make matters worse, they tell us, after 25 mins waiting, that part of the order was all of the sudden unavailable. You would think that they would have substituted with something else we wanted, but the manager didn't even bother to step out to tell us no. Not sure I would go back. Hopefully the management gets a refresh.
