La chambre était d’une propreté impeccable, spacieuse et bien décorée. |Nous avons tout apprécié dans la chambre + la place de parking gratuite. |Le réceptionniste était très agréable et serviable. |Le quartier par contre est inquiétant, et peu sécurisant. La nuit a été horrible a cause du bruit. Toute la nuit, nous avons du subir les voitures qui passaient avec la musique à fond, la résonance des enceintes, les Klaxons et le bruit de la circulation. Malgré les bouchons d’oreille, il a été tres difficile de dormir plus de 20 minutes d’affilée.

My story goes back to January 2017. But let me tell you this staff, even recently I'm told is horrible. No care for visitors, including coming up to my room uninvited to confront me about 2 people we were meeting to explore the Bay Area. This place needs to shut down and the staff get kicked out on the street with the rest of the trash. No room in society for nimrods who couldn't lead aunts with a trail of sugar of they tried. 👎👎

I have to say, my expectations were low for this motel considering the relatively low cost, but I was pleasantly surprised (relieved) to check into a clean, quiet and comfortable room. The free parking is a small lot but we never saw it full. The employee who checked me in was friendly (as friendly as you can be through a glass barrier) and I was promptly buzzed into the office door (which was locked each time I went) when I rang. I would definitely stay here again.

Owner is very meticulous and it shows. Rooms are very clean, spacious. This isn't in a great neighborhood true but you won't be walking anywhere anyway. The bus stop is directly outside the hotel and liquor store is super close.

When night falls this is a sketchy neighborhood, so we especially appreciated this clean, well maintained motel. We stayed here only because it is within walking distance of our daughter's apartment and during the day the neighborhood is fine to walk in. The desk staff was pretty businesslike but efficient. There was a microwave, fridge and tv, all clean and fairly new. Parking is directly outside the rooms.Price was reasonable and the motel was totally quiet despite being full on a Saturday night. If you need to be in or near this neighborhood for a night this is the place to stay.

When my group had arrived, I explained to the woman at the counter that we booked our tickets through Expedia 7 hours prior to arriving in Oakland. She said it wasn't in the system and we had never booked. She got another man to help us and he said we had to wait 15 minutes for it to appear. I tried telling him that we had paid for the room many hours ago but he got frustrated with me, interrupted me and told me to wait 15 minutes before walking away. This was extremely rude. It was at 3am and we had been traveling all night to get there just to wait in the lobby. I tried explaining to him that the room was booked under my name and paid for under another party member's credit card but he got frustrated again saying that name wasn't in the system. He eventually found our room reservation after much time wasted and we headed upstairs. The room was beautiful for the price we paid. It was very clean. There were no towels for the showers and virtually no water pressure. There wasn't an option for do not disturb so the cleaning crew came in anyway the next day and they brought some towels. They did a great job fixing up the place. Overall the room was nice but the man at the counter just put me in a bad mood.

Soooo immaculately clean. No problems with the front desk. Incredibly comfortable pillows and bed. We arrived when it was dark, and left when it was dark, so I wasn't able to observe the true sketchiness of the 'hood. I felt safe. There was a bit of street noise, but not too bad. Better than my husband's snoring.

Really impressed by the amenities and layout of everything (actual hand towel and holder beside the sink). The indian man who runs the place is super kind and smiles a lot. Beautiful flooring and working a/c and heat. Lots of channels to browse (HBO, ESPN, etc.). I reserved a king smoking room and felt like a little prince for two nights :)
