I bring my Onewheel here to ride and the trails are always nicely maintained and properly marked. Lots of nature to see even if it is mostly just mono-cropped pine tree forest.

I loved this relaxing little hiking spot! The swamp was so green, the woods so luscious. I wanted to see alligators but couldn't find any.

I have now biked a couple of times in this park. The dirt trails are well maintained. They are also well marked. Before heading out, pick up a map at the trailhead. Without having that information, getting lost would be easy. Being able to check out which trail leads in a particular direction is invaluable. On the day I was there, it was sunny, warm and every few people around. A number of flowers were blooming and some entire fields were filled with one flower or another. The people I saw the most of were working on some aspect of the park.

Awesome place to walk your dog or ride bikes. Really neat boardwalks. Some trails are soggy or underwater after rain. There is even a hose to clean off your bike or dog and a bike repair station. We even saw an Eastern Glass Lizard!!

Nice for walking & bikes mainly...pet friendly. Shortest trail was 1.7 miles...longest trail 11.5 miles with many different routes depending on how much you want to do. Few benches along the way to rest. Some sand trail but lots of gravel trails. Trail map kinda hard to follow. We found it best to go by the trail road names. We saw a little frog, 1 snake, a turtle digging a nest hole & dragonflies. We visited in early April so not many flowers...my photos posted are macro.

This park is very close to the city, so it’s a convenient spot. Plus, it’s free! The park is secluded, peaceful, and very scenic. It’s the complete opposite of PCB. There are many miles of trails meandering through the park. Some of these trails are only 1 or 2 miles long, while others are upwards of 10 miles. Many sections of trails even include boardwalks to cross over areas of water and marsh. With barely any people and a lot of wildlife, you really get immersed in nature here. We saw woodpeckers, squirrels, lizards, frogs, snakes, and rabbits. Several times we even heard the grunts of wild hogs. Now, this was during evening hours, so be mindful and keep your distance if you see one. Overall, awesome place, plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and maintained trails.

A very peaceful beautiful park. So many trail options to make them longer or shorter. Grab a map at the restroom pavilion and select a hike. They are color coded and there are maps throughout with benches for breaks! We chose to walk the 6.2 mile blue trail. We saw huge spiders, a skeleton of ?? one hundred million birds, one squirrel, one billion ducks frogs, and turtles. We passed many people on bikes, dogs, and a few runners. It was an awesome experience walking through the wetlands. It was a unique landscape at every turn!

Excellent trail system just a few miles from the beach. Many trails that merge together so a map is handy. They have an excellent map you can get at the main center. We did about 2 miles with our dog. Great wide and scenic paths, but many times you are in direct sun. Bring some water for your pooch! Excellent bathroom facilities.

This is a great park. I kind of wonder about some of the trolling that has been occurring lately. I am going to share something that is important- no, not about the weirdos. They will get caught eventually. Check this out. If you are from the West E

My 10 year old freaked out but the person who helped us was INCREDIBLY patient. We got through it (and jumped over all the pressure sensors that tripped the various puffs of air, etc.) It was really cool, definitely got the heart rate up, and I have
