Connect2First (C2F) is so much better than Suddenlink/Optimum (S/O). S/O was the absolute worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with in my life, so the bar was admittedly pretty low. C2F is charging me half the price of S/O for 4x the speed, with the option to go far higher for the same price I was paying before. Unlike S/O, who would leave exposed orange cables strung across my yard for months, C2F installed a nice flat access panel in my yard that I can easily mow over. Unlike Comcast Xfinity which is coming in behind C2F, drilling under my driveway as I write this, to install big ugly service boxes right in my front yard! These are eyesores that I never asked for, especially now that we already have a fiber connection, and whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired. I have had one issue with C2F having a planned maintenance outage overnight that stretched into mid-morning (at my house only, apparently) so that I lost about 4 hours of work time. But they also came out and fixed what turned out to be a bad connection at the junction box in the yard, and replaced my unit inside at the same time, so they at least fixed the problem relatively quickly. But that's nothing compared to all the issues we had with Suddenlink over the last 14 years. Other than that 1 instance, C2F has been excellent so far.

Called over three weeks ago for service. I was told that the they were required to give a timeframe of 30-45 days for install, but that it never takes that long. I have called a number of times since, simply looking for information, only to find out that apparently nobody has any information at Connect2First. I am told that I’m on the list, but there is no information how far down the list I am. Not worth anyone’s time to wait for internet like this. Feels like a company being run in a 3rd world country. I have no clue how they stay in business

I love how this service stops working after their office is closed and my phone call is answered by a machine informing me that they're closed. Please call back during normal business hours. Forget about a weekend or holiday. I work in the A/C business, during the summer we are basically on call 24/7. Because that's our commitment, to provide the service we promised. Obviously a novel concept for Connect2last. I think I'll go back to AT&T. I had them for years and don't remember ever being without internet service.

Mason Quick provided my sister with above and beyond service. He corrected a mistake made by the initial installer and listened to my sister’s concerns. He spent as much time as needed. We would highly recommend Mason!

We switched to this company from Fidelity a few months back. So far our experience hasnt been too bad. Unfortunately, the performance isn't quite up to par of what we pay for, but we are summing that up to the service still being somewhat new to the area. Additionally, the lack of functioning ports on the modem produces inconvenience. So far we have had pretty steady connection with the exception of maybe two incidents during heavy storms. Overall functional, but definitely some room for improvement.

Connect2First should change their name to Connect2Last. If you enjoy a slow and unreliable internet connection and frequent outages for hours at a time, this is the provider for you! When you call customer “support” you’ll be blamed for the problem you’re having and told to restart your equipment (even though you do that regularly). Instead of admitting that they deliberately limit their users' internet connection bandwidth, they’ll say it’s your equipment (even if your modem, routers and switches are updated and efficient).

No technical support on the weekend. They'll only take a message. Hopefully you'll get a call in a day or two. If you work for home, you'll need a backup.

No problems since I switched. Had Optimum, went out every night at 9:45. Then Verson, same as my phone, thought phone wrks, not enough strength. Connect2 works awesome. Get what you pay for.
