This is a wonderful gem in La Verkin. The trails are gravel and go along the Virgin River. Not sure when the bridge was built, but it is less than 2 years old and leads to the other side of the river. Most times when I have been on this trail, I’ve seen less than 5 people. Lots of foliage. Highly recommend exploring Confluence Park.

The hubby and I took backpacks with little camp chairs attached. It made stopping to rest very nice. We sat for a while at a bend in the creek and soaked up the sounds while we had something to drink and a snack. The dog loved it too! Will definitely go back.

They have been cleaning up the area and have added a new access with stairs and a switchback trail so its not such a steep walk to get down here. They are also putting in a bridge to connect to the Hurricane side. The river is really low but still so pretty. I love the old hydroelectric plant and feed silo. The lava formations are amazing. Its a great quick little trail.

I came at this park from the northern end, and it sounds like I should have done the southern instead. I'm any case, the northern section seems heavily configured for equestrians, with a wide, dirt road being one of the "trails". The actual trail is blocked periodically by deadfalls and sinkholes, and could use better signage in places. It seems like it'd be a great gravel/ mountain biking circuit aside from the obstructions.

Beautiful little trail to stretch your legs and get acclimated to the weather with ups and downs of the elevation that could possibly effect your breathing if you’re not used to it. Great start to our Zion journey.

LaVerkin Confluence Park is a lovely place for a walk or trail run. The newly-installed stairway down from upper LaVerkin makes access to the river much easier from the north side of the river on the southeast side of the park. There's quite a little network of trails, and the views of the river, black lava rock, and surrounding mountains are beautiful.

I can't give this 5 stars because there is too much debris and construction going on in the area. On a slight note the smell of sulphur is strong as you get in the area of the old power house and toward the South Entrance trail head. Otherwise we got in 4.2 miles of walking trying to hit most of the trails and dirt roads. Some very nice views and occasional wildlife and blooming claret cup cactus & assorted flowers.

The La Verkin trailhead is near my home so I visit often. My two little dogs and I love this park. It is never crowded, it's quiet and serene, and except for a little bit during summer near the river, it's practically bug-free. There are trees full of birds, a field that sometimes hosts some cows, and the history of the old structures is well worth checking out. Watching the level and speed of the Virgin River and the 2 creeks (La Verkin and Ash) during the various seasons is enjoyable. There are great sunsets here, too. I love this park and its diversity.

We are locals to the area and were really interested in the concept of the silo being a livable structure and had to test it out. From the time we booked to check in everything was smooth and communication was great. Once we checked in the host was v

This is a great place to stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable. There is no direct contact with the staff but if you can read and follow directions it's pretty straightforward. It's more of a casual camp ground style situation. Cabins are well e
