Conestoga Grand River Campground - Featured Reviews (189)
We really enjoyed our stay! People were very friendly. Site was clean and good size with nice level gravel pad for RV, cement patio, nice table and firepit. Nice shad and good view of river and good breezes. Camp host was nice and checked up on guests. Campground was also quiet. We had very good fishing just like staff mentioned when checking in! Only complaint would be with several other guests with dogs and dogs were not kept tied up on own sites and roaming free.
It was sheer luck someone found this website! We couldn't have been happier. Had to be in Spring Lake for a family emergency and could not have found a place more accommodating. The Camp Hosts were warm and friendly, the maintenance personnel all friendly. Had little time for the pool but was happy the hours were late for a brief swim.
Cute Conestoga wagon themed RV park with several sites overlooking the lake. Golf cart and water sport rentals available on site.
Showers have excellent water temperature and pressure.
THE LAKE IS BEAUTIFUL AND OFFERS MANY WATER-RELATED ACTIVITIES, BUT THE AREA IS VERY BUGGY.
We would be willing to return/ recommend.
My wife came here as a child so she insists we visit here each year. That is the only reason I would Ever stay here. Imagine 4 parking spots from your grocery store, 2 side by side and the 2 directly across, and that is essentially the space you get to put your tent, fire pit, and vehicle. You are so close you can hear the conversations of campers around you. Store opens late and closes early, prices seem high, bathrooms are Usually a quarter inch of water and nasty. Arcade for kids has out of order signs on 90% of the machines (so 1 or 2 work), docks are shaky and sinking partially below the water. Kids cut through your camp site, people are drunk yelling past midnight, and people are constantly driving around golf carts which beep when reversing. Ive stayed here 5 or 6 times now, and each time I consider putting my foot down and saying never again. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Love this campground
Staff is so friendly and very welcoming
Park is very well maintained and bathrooms and shower areas are very clean and maintained as well
Rates are very reasonable
Playground with a basketball area with a pool
There is a pavilion area for gatherings with friends and family
There also a dock and boat launch area that runs along the Grand river
Bring your water craft and enjoy the river view
Like I mentioned we love this place highly recommend for sure

This place is a DUMP!! Black mold all over the bathrooms and showers. Not at all " remodeled" as is advertised. Loud, drunken parties till all hours in the morning...2:30 am was next to us. When we complained, the camp host said," well, I talked to them.." Obviously talking doesn't do anything. Sites are small, RVs stacked on top of each other. I wouldn't go there if it was the last place on earth. It SUCKS !!!
A cute campground with a pool and Pavillion and play area. We rented a canoe and the lady was really sweet but didn't know how to get the canoe off the storage rack so my husband had to do it. The arcade has old games and most are out of order. For the price we could have stayed at other campgrounds much more attractive and up to date and there were no full hook ups. I would go back for a quick weekend getaway. The people are friendly and it's close to home.
Small, dirty bad experience all around booked 6 nights stayed one and then headed north to double j resort
Bathrooms disgusting first and last time at this place.

I don't eat on the road very often but when I see good reviews of a place I always like to try it and make my own opinion which definitely was positive. This place is relatively new and has a clean modern look with plenty of seating. The service is d
This is exactly what an old main st. pizzeria should be. This is in an old bank building complete with a vault. One side is modeled after a 50s diner with an automotive them. The other side is simply nostalgic. There is just a cool vibe to the pl

Quick stop in Coopersville on the way to our destination. Nice town with a unique downtown. Marne Railway and the old trains were a pleasure to stop and see. Well worth the side quest ð
A very cozy location for new beginnings. Had great food and great service. You wouldn't know this location is here but it's a great location, and the only place to eat in the area.
