Computer Helper - Computer repair service in Douglasville - 8723 Hospital Dr, USA

I contacted Computer Helper to repair a faulty "m" key on my Lenovo laptop (letter which is currently being display via copy/paste). Ideally, I had hoped they would be able to simply order a replacement key/hinge kit and get it working. Worst case scenario, maybe replace the entire keyboard. I dropped off the laptop on a Thursday and was told that there was no way they could replace the key assembly, since nobody makes these parts anymore. I let them know that the key kits were indeed available for sale on many websites, but I was not confident enough to perform the repair myself. This seemed to take them by surprise. This should have been a sign for me to collect my things and go elsewhere, but I was assured that the tech would come take a look at it and make an assement on what needed to be done, and then call me right back. Their shop is about an hour from where I live, so I found a few things to occupy my time while I waited on their phone call. The call did not come on that day, nor the next day. Then they closed for the weekend, so I had to wait until monday. 5 days without the use of my laptop, and without that promised phone call. It would only have taken a couple minutes to pick up the phone and give me an update. I wasn't going to leave this review, but I just got an automated email from Computer Helper soliciting my feedback, so here we are.

My son needed a broken PC to work on in his 8th grade Computer Science class. After looking around various thrift stores with no success, I contacted Computer Helper and they were able to hook him up. Thank you so much! This counts for 50% of his grade.

When you are told that there is nothing they can do to help you with a software you need to view a particular video, and you go to Computer Helper and meet with Jeremiah, who assures you that he can help. Within a couple of minutes, he is able to solve your problem for you. You normally don't receive this type of customer service, and I want to thank you all so much. If you have any computer issues, please don't hesitate to call them, and you will be taken care of. Great team.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received at Computer Helper. I had been told that my computer was beyond servicing, however, I have a working computer and at a reasonable price. I am beyond pleased !

They may be good at other things, but Do NOT go to this place for data recovery. It's clearly not their specialty. Unfortunately, they charge the same amount whether they are able to recover data or not. I'm guessing they rarely do. I paid $85 for absolutely nothing, not even get a real quote for the cost to actually be able recover the data. I definitely feel ripped off.

Great experience, I was desperate for help with my new computer. Made 1 phone call to Computer Help and problem was resolved.

they had to order the parts for my laptop , got them their quick and when they called I took my computer to them and they had it installed and called me to pick it up all in less then 3 hrs, it was great service

I was so scared, and very concern about my information on my laptop but, when i meet Jeremiah Lee i feel like he was a part of my family or friend i was at peace. His personality was on point with me and very professional . Jeremiah fix my laptop and gave me some tips as well. So i send my friend Shay Garrett to get her laptop fix . Thank you again Jeremiah.
