If you're in the Visalia area and are looking for a breakfast spot do yourself a favor and stop by the Component and grab some good food and even better coffee. There's a decent variety of items on the menu. The service is great. And the food is very flavorful. This spot is pretty trendy and a great place to meet up with friends for breakfast or brunch. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito, OG avocado toast, and the Mojo potatoes. 10/10

This coffee place offers a different experience and satisfies the needs of people who enjoy a nice ambiance and rustic setting, the coffee was great and also the pastries, the prices are a little high but the service was great

Amazing!!! We are in town for a conference and the this beautiful coffee shop is only a 4 Min walk away. We have found ourselves here every morning so far. I am very impressed with the overall customer service and attitude of every employee we have come across. I have tried something different each day and have not been let down at all. Great food and amazing coffee. I would highly recommend.

So the only reason I’m not leaving 5 stars is because the food just didn’t hit it for me. Not saying this place isn’t great and wouldn’t recommend it because I do and I definitely think you should check them out and get some coffee and who l knows maybe you will enjoy there food. There food isn’t bad just missing something. I got the breakfast burrito and my wife got the avocado toast. The burrito was good but the sauce they put in it was really overwhelming and they put a lot of it! So it was very soupy and way to wet in some parts of the burrito and I wasn’t a fan of that. The avocado I felt like was more of a show piece rather than food. It was missing a lot of flavor. I understand that it was suppose to be a modern twist on a old school traditional dish but you can still put some seasoning with the butter spread or on top of the avocado. The poached egg on top was cooked great but very small in comparison to the rest. The thing that really got me was it’s completely covered in sprouts! Just take it easy a little lol now with that being said overall this is an amazing coffee shop! I will definitely come back, the vibe, the people and the staff we’re absolutely a great to be around! I would recommend this place and definitely think you should check it out.

Loved the aesthetic. Small breakfast menu (I believe I have all 3 items listed). Indoor and outdoor seating with awesome personalities on the staff. My dark chocolate coffee was interesting, not for me. The other two beverages we had they both loved it! Chai spice and I can’t recall the other one. We got pestered and bit by some flies outside while eating but other than that we loved it! If you’re walking out from the inside of the building, the left side tables are in front of a huge hedge with dense spider webs all over it, just a heads up!

Fantastic little coffee shop, clearly popular as the car park was overflowing. Had their breakfast burrito and a tea and the food was astounding! Quickly prepared and very flavoursome. Very nice atmosphere in the cafe whilst I ate it and sat there for a bit afterwards. Would want to come back!

Nowadays it's not easy to find a coffee shop that still caters to true coffee aficionados who want an espresso drink that's crafted to precise traditional standards. I was overjoyed when I found Component Coffee Lab in Visalia while visiting there recently. My beverage of choice is a cappuccino. Their preparation of my drink was perfect, with balanced proportions, and served at just the right temperature! They offer off street parking, and have both indoor and outdoor seating. I found the place quite comfortable to just sit and enjoy my drink. I was only in Visalia for a weekend, but managed two trips to their shop during my stay. On my second trip I walked out with a pound of their Stereo Mix beans. I was told these are the beans they use for their espresso. It's a medium level roast, which is just what I like. I've been using these beans for pour overs and can say this is a versatile roast, that's equally good in shots or as a pour over brew. I will definitely be stopping by their shop the next time I find myself in the neighborhood.

Friendly staff, cool interior (converted from old brick warehouse maybe?), good coffee, small but nice selection of food catering to a variety of dietary preferences. Was very busy but they do a good job of managing it and making the space/experience enjoyable despite the crowd.
