My wife and I stayed overnight 8-14-24. Staff (3 I had contact with) were very pleasant and helpful. Areas - near reception desk, TV area near there, & dining seating for breakfast - were very large. Especially Large variety at complimentary breakfast. Place VERY clean, interior and exterior of building, bathrooms as well. I was VERY impressed also with how well lit the parking area was at night. Room had a lot of seating area, bed was very comfortable, as well as the square pillows! (?) Very NICE screens and shades on the windows in room, you can tell they went the extra mile for the customer. The lobby area with TV very impressive, how comfortable the chairs were, and how it was arranged so it made you relax and be at ease. GREAT abundance of coffee in large area in the lobby, as well as a well stocked snack room next to there (for purchases). Kudos, to whomever arranged all this!
Stayed one night on way up north. Was quickly checked in-friendly Room was basic and clean enough. Ice machine did not work so had to go to another floor. Noise in the next door room starting around 7:30 am - banging etc. Good I was already up but not very pleasant. Loc is close to highway so very convenient. Breakfast good - basic but something for everyone. Price reasonable. Would stay again.
We happened to have very noisy overhead guests. Rm 435 had wma matches all night. Asked front desk to do something. Quiet for a few min and started up again. Our walls shook. Room 335 was not quiet, had loose wires hanging out of the air conditioner making a trip hazard. On the plus side. Room was well appointed, bed very comfortable with excellent water pressure for a great shower.
Stayed 2 nights. tub was extremely slow draining so your feet had to marinate in your dirt while showering. Reported this but it was never fixed. Room telephone was not working but was plugged in. Hair dryer not working. Common areas in need of deep cleaning. Unsatisfied with the accommodations and the effort of the manager to make it right. Although I was compensated $47 for my "inconvenience" I was under the impression that it would be the price of one night's stay. It was just MY DAUGHTER'S WEDDING DAY!! Would give a zero rating if I could.
Air conditioner broken and stopped throughout the night but manager said it was working fine. Hall's covered in stains and carpets ripped, breakfast was horrible with rubber egg patties and hard biscuits, phones in the rooms didn't work. Manager just said "no I'm not doing that" to a request of adjusting the price some for one of the rooms we got. Horrible service and uncaring. Spend the extra 20 bucks and stay at a better hotel.
Temperature of the lobby was freezing. When I arrived at my room, it was freezing. I attempted to raise the thermostat on the AC unit, it didn't work. When I arrived at breakfast, I had a small portion of of bacon, eggs and sausage. The butter for toast was frozen. The theme for this hotel should be, "IF YOU LIKE IT COLD, THIS IS YOUR HOTEL."
For just over $100 a night, I definitely felt that I got my monies worth. It was a quick spot for me to sleep on a long drive. The parking lot was well let and felt safe, which is what I needed with belongings in the car. Some things could be maintained better. My shower curtain was broken enough that I couldn’t keep it closed, light switchs cracked, and there was obvious wear and tear and dust around the room. No huge deal yet but when those things pile up and aren’t taken care of, it’ll only start to look worse and worse and these should be easy repairs. Breakfast was okay enough to get me started but coffee wasn’t hot so went to Starbucks next door. Overall it served its purpose and is a good pit stop off I-95 at a slightly cheaper price than the neighboring hotels.
The room had a very sour smell, the sheets were visibly stained, the bathroom was dirty and the toilet was broken. I went to speak with the front desk to request a different room. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional and unwilling to help me so I asked to speak to a manager. I spoke with Jennifer Jones, her attitude was much worse and she was unwilling to listen to my complaints, instead of fixing the issue she cancelled my reservation and refused to issue a refund.
