Comfort Suites Waco North - Near University Area - Hotel in Waco - 810 I-35, USA

Overall a good stay. Not a bad hotel for the price. Pet policy is $40 a day. Emotion support animals do not qualify only service dog can stay for free. Room was decent and the bed was clean. Shower was the worst part. It had a leaky head. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful.

I would never recommend this place given how bad my experience was including the 7 other people I was traveling with. The owner canceled my reservation the day of check in and did not notify me. Gloria, the first desk lady was very nice and tried to help me get another room elsewhere as the owner said they were sold out when I showed up to check in. I ended up staying at the Comfort Inn 5 mins down the road off La Salle. I would highly recommend staying there then this comfort Inn.|A couple I was traveling with had to move rooms twice because the air conditioning stopped in different rooms. There was no maintenance apparently and no one to clean the other rooms so Gloria has to clean them causing them to be up all night.|Very disappointed in this place and the staff is not treated well by the owner.

Stayed here for a night and had a wonderful experience. It’s a very clean hotel with a wonderful employees who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. If your in the area I’d recommend this hotel

I’m staying here as I am writing the review. Not impressed! Made reservations about 1 week ahead through booking.com. I had requested ground floor, they put us in 309, not ground floor. We arrived around 7:40pm which was early for u. Elevators are extremely slow………… not fun when traveling with infant and 4 year old. Got to the room, it was so HOT!!! It said set on 75, but way warmer! They have window units, not central AC with thermostat on wall. So it takes some time to cool, during the night you could feel the humidity come and go in the unit. So I took the kids swimming to let the room cool some. Excited for the inside pool. Disappointed again, the pool was very small. The water was freezing, ok this will help if the AC doesn’t cool. Pool goes from3 feet to 5 feet. The inside room with pool was really dark above the pool, no overhead lighting. Maybe that was the cover up. The pool water was very n murky I could not see my feet. Got back to our room to discover that right after I left with the kids, my husband said TV stop working, so my husband told me he went down to the front desk, the front desk employee comes up to the room looks at TV tries a few things and says he will be right back. He never came back or contacted us. So NO TV for this hotel stay 🤨 and no communication from hotel employee. I do plan on asking for a discount when I check out, but I’m pretty sure they will say there isn’t anything they can do. The employee didn’t even say hey why don’t we change your room?? Just I will be right back…. Still waiting. |So do I recommend anything so far, the beds are comfortable. That is all I have currently.|Will we stay here again? Probably NOT|Worth the value, not at all.

I wanted to give a good review for the manager, Norma, and also for Gloria at the front desk. We came in early before check in time after traveling since early in the morning. They didn’t have a room available but Gloria got on the phone to get us a room at the other Comfort Suites. Norma gave us a refund, despite the rule of a 24 hour cancellation to get a refund. They went above and beyond what was required to take care of us!!

Positive: My Husband and I often come visit our grandchildren in Waco and we absolutely love to stay at this hotel. Hotel employees are the best in always catering to the needs of our family. Thank you ladies so much! Negative: Often there's something wrong with the TV remote..

The service here is top notch and the facilities, room, pool, gym, otherwise, are cleaner that you might expect of a mid level hotel like this. This place being located right on I-35 means that you can get everywhere in Waco and the surrounding areas quickly from here, but everyone else can get here quickly too, making the clientele sometimes seedy. Overall, I feel comfortable picking this place as my spot to stay.

Came down with my kids we enjoyed all day. Specially the pool the room was nice and clean. Front desk was amazing so was the manager.
