Comfort Suites Texarkana Arkansas - Hotel in Texarkana - 5420 Crossroads Pkwy, USA

Mostly clean room (stain on couch that I covered with a towel) otherwise it was pretty clean. Decent enough breakfast (ends at 9am tho), had a room on 1st floor and at the end of the hallway this time so it made trips to go have a smoke very convenient. The maid was a very nice lady, got us squared away with toiletries and whatnot quickly and without hassle.

Where to start? Well Shame on me for not reading reviews but I never had a problem with Comfort Suites before so I didn't feel the need. Check in went fine, the woman friendly and the lobby looked great. However when I entered the room it reeked of mold. I turned on the air to see if it was just stale air and I left for dinner. I returned and it was the same. I lifted the cushions on the sleeper sofa and it was gross. I can guarantee these sleepers were rained on after being dropped off in the parking lot waiting to be put in these rooms. I have seen them in a couple parking lots over the years. I asked to be moved and she gave me another room which was better. But when I entered the pool access, the mold smell was as bad as I have ever seen. The funny thing is a man was given my old room and apparently didn't have my sense of smell. Stay at the Holiday Inn or the Hampton Inn, they're much cleaner.

Our experience at this hotel was not good at all. The rooms were nasty. The hotel overall did not smell great. The Front receptionist was amazing. We had also found MOLD growing in the pull out couch. We needed up switching rooms and yet, the pull couch also had growing mold. That is not okay. That needs to be fixed before someone get sick. There was also mold growing in the gym.

I am so happy with our stay. We stopped here after a 12 hour drive and let me just say that this place deserves its name! It was so comfortable, and clean. The room’s temperature was perfect and the staff was so nice and warm. Even the breakfast was very complete! I have no complaints, would 100% recommend!

During a 13 hour drive we decided to break and spend the night. I called the main line at 7 pm on a Friday and was able to make my reservation and lock down a room while still an hour + out. Upon arrival the receptionist was friendly and helpful The rooms were clean and appeared to be well kept. There was no smell of ‘musty-ness’ or various others stankiness that I have experienced at other times. I was impressed with the size of the rooms. Two queen beds, a sitting couch, an L shaped sofa and a long desk. There was ample lighting throughout the room. We adjusted the a/ c to 68°, at it kept it there. There is a minimalist breakfast served, but sufficient for those who eat in the morning. Note, zero bacon, dang. Overall, it was a very nice break spot and it worked out well for us.

Stopped after 12 hours of driving on the edge of town. I carry a black light flash light to see if rooms are "clean". Corners of the room were glowing and definitely did not need it for the couch. Made sure not to touch that. Slept a few hours and left. Too many other options literally on the same street to ever end up there agian...

We spent the night and found a cockroach crawling down the wall as we were packing up in the morning. Staff at the front was immediately notified, and shown a picture, but could only tell me to call later to check with the manager. Three phone calls and over a week later I called Choice corporate and was able to get a partial refund. The hotel manager refused to call me back despite numerous messages. We paid $182 to stay in a room with cockroaches, a moldy shower curtain, and trim hanging off a corner - $115 for the room plus a $50 pet fee. I would not recommend staying here. The hotel is in desperate need of pest control, basic maintenance, and the manager clearly doesn't care. The rest of the staff was absolutely amazing!

We booked a room here for my nieces graduation. We checked in and after getting a key we went up to the room and after pulling the bedspread back noticed crumbs in the bed. I went downstairs and was given another room which that key did not work. Went to front desk again and was given a third room. After entering this room we pulled the sheets back and noticed hair and debris in the beds. Returned one more time and was given a forth room. The beds were clean and the pillows lined up. However the shower had mold and a torn shower curtain but after calling around and nothing available anywhere just stayed. I was never offered a discount or even given an apology, but was charged an extra 50.00 dollars for an 8lb dog that if she would have crapped or pissed on the floors no one would ever know due the filthiness of the rooms and hall ways. If I had been working the front desk the first thing I would have done after having to give out the third key would have been offering a discount or saying no 50.00 dollar pet fee and apologizing. I was given no discount or apology for the inconvenience of the cleaning service.
