Comfort Suites Sulphur-Lake Charles - Hotel in Sulphur - 2505 LA-108, USA

Clean quiet hotel, easy on/off interstate. Modern rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Hot showers and comfortable beds. I travel for work and stayed here about a month ago. I chose to stay here again because it is hard to find a clean reliable hotel, and this is certainly one. Great value, I will be back!!!

We have stayed at this hotel several times. Every time it gets worse. Last visit room was not clean. TV did not work. This visit the room looks clean , but is it? The sheer curtains were disgusting! The dark curtains were also dirty and would not close so had huge lights shining in window for the night. The cleaning crew were very nice and friendly!

Good but not great. Staff are friendly. The breakfast is nothing special. Coffee is bad, both the in-room (as expected) but also in the dining area. Lots of parking. The pool is clean and fresh. The shower in my room was the lone standout - Fantastic! Endless hot water and strong spray pressure.

As someone who frequently travels for State business and consistently stays at Comfort Suites, I've come to expect a diverse breakfast selection. However, my recent experience at this particular location was disappointing. The breakfast options were limited to just biscuits and gravy, which fell short of the usual variety I appreciate. Hoping for a more diverse menu on my next visit.

The shower in the room was fantastic but everything else was only OK. The lighting was very dim. The desk was a weird configuration that didn't have a great place to set my laptop. There is no decent coffee in the hotel. The in-room coffee maker was predictably bad, but the coffee in the breakfast area wasn't any better. The breakfast wasn't bad but wasn't anything noteworthy either.

Very nice staff, clean and quiet rooms. Will recommend this place to anyone. Plus the breakfast was great!!

During our brief stop in Sulphur, we spent one night at Candlewood Suites. The room was impressively spacious, clean and comfortable. Krystal at the front desk warmly greeted us with kindness and a pleasant demeanor. Although our stay was short, we genuinely appreciated the experience.

The first thing I noticed was that the TV wasn't connected to cable box. And no It was not simple as just plugging it in. The cable box had unlabeled cables everywhere. The next thing was the bathroom, it was not clean and did not have a shower certain for the shower. It seem like no one checked the room before assigning it to a guest. Staff had a little attitude when I asked them to fix the TV, for towels, and the missing shower curtain. Then, I ended up leaving my dress behind after check out. I called the hotel the next day to see if they could hold it until I was able to pick it up. The staff stated they could not locate my dress. I knew exactly where I left it (in the closet) and I described the dress. The staff kept saying the housekeeping manager did not see or couldn't locate it. I asked if the room was assigned to anyone after me, the lady relayed no. So therefore my dress was still in the closet or staff (housekeeping) stole it. I got in contact with corporate to explain the situation. After that I received a call from the hotel saying the housekeeping manager located my dress in the housekeeping cart. So, if my room has not been assigned to another guest after me. How did my dress go from the closet to missing then to the housekeeping cart unnoticed? I believe staff attempted to steal my dress and hide it. If It wasn't for me reaching out to corporate, I wouldn't have gotten my dress back.
